Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Never heard of this before

Apparently premier League clubs have a secret agreement never to take on a player who leaves via Webster as it would mean player just leaving cheap. For example City and Chelsea bench players who didn’t get game time could all start looking to move so it would hurt every club.

The other problem is that the compensation is unpredictable so City might pay £50m for him if the court agrees or £250m depending on the case, I read there is another ruling that further complicates Webster. If it’s the later and City blow FFP again they could be in big trouble.

All in all it would be a huge mess for Kane, Spurs and City. It would be a legal nightmare for everyone.

The only difference is the contract

If Kane could run his contract down he’d do the same thing as Judas who didn’t go on strike like Kane has

Both cunts imv
We’re all pissed off and fully agree that Kane has fucked us. It’s just nowhere near Sol. That still boils my piss.

He looked directly into the camera and said he was staying and then went to the scum. So, so much worse.

Kane is just a bog standard modern player that’s fucking off the Harlem Globetrotters.

Stating the obvious: we are hoping for different outcomes in this transfer saga and our perspectives from our differing vantage points will cause us to see this series of events (and non-events) in very contrasting ways.

But I have my own theory of how this has played out (and still is) and wonder if you might grant that it is at least possible or even plausible at this point?

So in March, MCFC announce that their time with Aguero will be coming to an end when his contract wound down this summer. Many people had presumed that this would be the case, but it seemed a bizarre and risky thing to go trumpeting to the football world.
Then word gets out through Aguero, the Chairman and others that City would be replacing him in the summer. Surely a club as ruthlessly efficient in business and transfers wouldn't telegraph a weakness like that to clubs that they'd be seeking to purchase from?
Also, this would be the sort of very large value transfer that would have a lot of moving parts and loose ends to sew up. Doesn't seem the sort of thing to just get thrown together late in the window before the deadline.
Then amongst all of the speculation and chatter, City and Kane never squash the rumors.
Then City loan out Delap and sell Nmecha.
Think whatever you will of City, but they aren't complete fools who'd do that without thinking that they have a deal made.

I think that the deal was made. Pre-Aguero announcement. They knew that they had a player who'd be receptive. City always approach the player first. They knew what the number was going to be to purchase him too and they were okay with it. Kane knew too and the extended-holidays were always part of the plan as soon as the schedule was released. THFC won't be fining him. His sitting out was always going to happen and it allows all parties to not have an acrimonious day on the 15th.

Perhaps I'm wrong and your owner issues a flat rejection statement. Perhaps Kane apologizes, comes grovelling back kissing the badge all the way.

We'll know for sure soon.
If this was already agreed he would have left by now because you would have paid a fee that would have been appropriate for one of the best Strikers and England Captain. It's that simple. You did this with Walker, deal was done before the season was even finished, you paid a World record fee (at the time) for a defender.

If the deal is already done why low-ball?

Your arrogance of this situation is becoming of your plastic sports washing club though, you'll make your owners proud.

I find it hilarious that Nuno is claiming he still hasn't spoken to Kane. What is this bullshit.
If that's the case, maybe he's been told not to expect Kane back, so he's getting on with his job, using the players he has ...rather than distracting himself with someone that used to play for Spurs?

Makes sense.

Kane is just a bog standard modern player that’s fucking off the Harlem Globetrotters.

At the moment he is nowhere near Sol but if he goes on full strike and decides not to play or train every again in the hope of forcing a lowball option on the club then he has fucked his legacy.

You think he has spoken to Kane and is lying or you can’t believe Kane hasn’t spoke to him?
I just don't understand how the new manager of the club hasn't spoken to his best player despite being in charge for weeks now, and especially after the Euros ended. I can't believe such a thing could happen. Maybe he is telling the truth but that would scream loudly that Kane is 100% gone and the clubs are just working out the financials behind the scenes, only in this scenario would it be understandable for Nuno not to speak to Kane up to now, what would be the point if the deal is going to be done.

Must be nice to be able to sit in Florida on an extended holiday while you are meant to be at work.
And knowing that the worst thing that is likely to happen is you will be fined a couple of weeks worth of money.

You sit on the beach H while the other lads put the effort in, The model professional my arse.

You've also got Lukaku dictating to Milan that they must accept Chelsea's offer.

I hate modern football, I really hope the bottom falls out, 90% of clubs go bust and all these cunts are back working real jobs.

Kane himself said he wouldn’t speak to anyone at Tottenham until after the Euros, and when the tournament finished he went AWOL. I doubt he has spoken directly to anyone at the club all summer. He’s just let his entourage deal with it. If he won’t pick up the phone, how can Nuno talk to him?

Nuno said a couple of weeks ago that he would speak to Harry when he returns from his holiday, which he hasn’t done.

Florida is like THE covid hotbed in the states right now.

Granted that could be why Kane chose it. Force a self isolation period once he is forced back to the country.

All this shit with Harry Kane mugging off Spurs fans and shitting all over his own legacy is to prevent him being booed a little bit when we play you?

I don't think so somehow.

God the more I stew on this the more its frustrating me. Harry Kane actually went out the end of the season and did a whole long interview with Neville basically saying he wanted to leave. I read that more as a bit of pressure to Levy to spend rather than him actually wanting to leave. Now he's gone on strike without even speaking to the new manager.

Kane is absolutely done as a spurs player. I don't care if he comes on screen and apologises I don't want him near the squad again. Completely selfish man who thinks he's better than his colleagues and any fan that cheers him this year if he ends up making a comeback has absolutely zero respect for themselves.

Can I remind everyone out first game is against City. Kane won't be starting that match because he's not even been back for pre season yet so it's very clear he's been told to do this and avoid playing again before the move happens.

At this stage I honestly think the best Tottenham could do is the following:

1. Sell for £120-£130 million. No other terms

2. Sell for £100 mil and see if Jesus will sign from City as a swap on strikers.

The sweet sweet justice if we swapped strikers and Jesus went on to have a better season than Kane.

I'll be cheering on every fucking team outside of City next year because between Pep crying into the cameras about his irreplaceable striker Aguero to Kanes antics forcing a move away and City just splashing whatever they want on players they're so so wrong for football you just accept it most of the time.

Fuck Harry Kane and we cannot let up if the move fails And Kane ends up back with us playing. Do not let up on the prick he thinks he's better than the players, fans and club as a whole, he's just a disingenuous prick and City will very soon realise that for all the greatness of Kane, its usually Son that scores the big goals when we need them.
Whilst I agree Kane is finished at Spurs - why are you completely absolving Levycunt from any blame in this?

They agreed last summer Kane would be sold this window (like we did with Modric) and now has predictably lied and gone back on this word. Sell the cunt, cash in and let's rebuild.

Hasn't he already done that?
The stupid Cunt isn't even in the right country.
Makes it very difficult to train and to play. Hence why he wasn't Involved last night.
Have no doubt, he is already "On Strike".
CUNT.
Kane, not you.
