Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

No - if he wants to leave that bad, he should still turn up and train, hand in the transfer request and lose his bonus, not drag the club through the shitter. Indefensible for me.
Exactly right, it's not as though he needs the money. He's rich beyond most people's wildest dreams anyway.

I actually haven't got a problem with him wanting to leave. Players aren't slaves, if they really want to go to another club they can do. But there is a right way of going about it and he's done it totally unprofessionally. He's been so badly advised, it's laughable but the damage is now done and he's now backed himself into a corner while taking a huge dump over the club that he claims to have loved.

I dont want cast offs, rather the cash but Laporte is a very good left footed centre back and Silva a creative midfielder, which we lack. He is 26, hardly over the hill. I'd take those 2 because they are good players in positions we need to fill. Really don't want the likes of Jesus etc.
I'm rethinking Jesus a bit, would take him + 110m. A front three of Son - Vlahovic - Jesus would have great energy in the press, speed, strength and goals. His best games for City have been at RW or LW, by far his strongest Brazil performances have come at RW. Very good to beat a man and create chances from the right He's often been better for Brazil than for City, allowed to play off the cuff a bit more, I feel he's not overly suited to Pep's method of play.

You have him as your first choice RW for the season and backup striker, with 55m going toward a first choice striker and 55m to help bring in defence/midfield/creative attacking midfielder.

I hope Lloris turns up to training with his WC winner’s medal on the first day Kane’s back: that’s one trophy Kane’s never winning with Gary in charge.
Have Son bring his Asian games medal. Have Romero and Gio carry around the Copa America. Have Lucas and Serge juggle all their trophies from France in front of him. I want a picture of Bergwijn eating a succulent meal off of one of the dish shaped trophies you get for winning the Dutch league.

Not even close. He could have been a legend. Now he’s just another guy who has played for our club and who has disrespected it.

I hold people like Van der Vaart in higher regards. He was here for only 2 years but has showed more respect for the club and fans then “One of our own” Kane.
Another thing we have in common with mayweather. Both legends, both like to beat up women!

Must be nice to be able to sit in Florida on an extended holiday while you are meant to be at work.
And knowing that the worst thing that is likely to happen is you will be fined a couple of weeks worth of money.

You sit on the beach H while the other lads put the effort in, The model professional my arse.

You've also got Lukaku dictating to Milan that they must accept Chelsea's offer.

I hate modern football, I really hope the bottom falls out, 90% of clubs go bust and all these cunts are back working real jobs.

Is this true?

Last I heard he'd said he'd like to leave but was happy enough for it to be on Inter's terms.

MCFC Supporter here in peace.

Stating the obvious: we are hoping for different outcomes in this transfer saga and our perspectives from our differing vantage points will cause us to see this series of events (and non-events) in very contrasting ways.

But I have my own theory of how this has played out (and still is) and wonder if you might grant that it is at least possible or even plausible at this point?

So in March, MCFC announce that their time with Aguero will be coming to an end when his contract wound down this summer. Many people had presumed that this would be the case, but it seemed a bizarre and risky thing to go trumpeting to the football world.
Then word gets out through Aguero, the Chairman and others that City would be replacing him in the summer. Surely a club as ruthlessly efficient in business and transfers wouldn't telegraph a weakness like that to clubs that they'd be seeking to purchase from?
Also, this would be the sort of very large value transfer that would have a lot of moving parts and loose ends to sew up. Doesn't seem the sort of thing to just get thrown together late in the window before the deadline.
Then amongst all of the speculation and chatter, City and Kane never squash the rumors.
Then City loan out Delap and sell Nmecha.
Think whatever you will of City, but they aren't complete fools who'd do that without thinking that they have a deal made.

I think that the deal was made. Pre-Aguero announcement. They knew that they had a player who'd be receptive. City always approach the player first. They knew what the number was going to be to purchase him too and they were okay with it. Kane knew too and the extended-holidays were always part of the plan as soon as the schedule was released. THFC won't be fining him. His sitting out was always going to happen and it allows all parties to not have an acrimonious day on the 15th.

Perhaps I'm wrong and your owner issues a flat rejection statement. Perhaps Kane apologizes, comes grovelling back kissing the badge all the way.

We'll know for sure soon.
fucked off yet?

None of us would have an issue with him leaving but the way he has gone about it is disgraceful.
I think that’s what makes us a unique club. No problem with our best player for many years leaving. But we would hate for enic/levy to go. Usually it’s the other way around.
Your best player is going… that’s cool.
Levy is stepping down & enic selling up…
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Say it ain’t so!!! We are doomed I tells ya.

Nobody gives a flying fuck what you think.

Nope it means if we'd got rid of shit like Winks 2 years ago and replaced them with better footballers we might have had a shot at keeping Kane.

That little turd is a reason why we can't keep our best players. They don't want to play with dross like him.
That’s not how we do things here. We smoke 40 a day, get cancer & then deal with the effects of lung cancer. We don’t stop smoking & prevent the cancer. We instead focus on the effects of the cancer & totally ignore the cause of it & why we are so ill.

Thats the issue with the levy/enic fans way. You may be happy with no trophies & sometimes top 4s. But most very good players aren’t. So you end up choosing enic & levy over your best players. Very unique bunch we are.
