Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

If this was already agreed he would have left by now because you would have paid a fee that would have been appropriate for one of the best Strikers and England Captain. It's that simple. You did this with Walker, deal was done before the season was even finished, you paid a World record fee (at the time) for a defender.

If the deal is already done why low-ball?

Your arrogance of this situation is becoming of your plastic sports washing club though, you'll make your owners proud.

He'd have left already, unless it was a part of the deal. We play at yours soon. I believe that factors in. If Kane doesn't get fined for skipping out, I take that as evidence of this.

I also don't know that there was a low-ball offer. Perhaps there was. Perhaps it was always part of the deal to play it out in the press that Spurs are standing firm to hold their Captain and demanding higher value.

I still believe the deal is long since been done and these theatrics are face-saving for Spurs and allows them to shop for players without other clubs attempting to chisel a larger portion of Kane's 9-Figure fee out of them.

Sorry if anything I said came off as arrogant. Not my intention. I was there when we were shit.

So this only serves as confirmation bias then.....?

Q. What makes this racist tosser a worthwhile reference point?

He's not getting my clicks........
Don't know anything about him being racist (never heard of the cunt before seeing that post tbf...) but the intense middle aged hipster wanker vibes screaming out of the picture was enough to firmly entrench me in this camp...

I'm getting to the point where I just want him to fuck off now and win his trophies. Their fans will never love him, he will just be the latest shiny toy in their collection.

fuck him

If he scores goals for them of course they will love him, as they did Aguero. Yeah, he won't get the same adulation as he got with us because he won't be there for as long as he has been with us. But you're right in just wanting him gone now and for the circus to come to an end. Everyone should now be feeling that way. And that doesn't mean we just let him go for a price the club isn't content with either. But this needs to come to a conclusion asap.

Question for you do you back your owners? Is the Human rights violations they have committed worth it? Are the rape victims jailed for adultery in Abu Dhabi worth it? Are the people who are imprisoned for Homosexuality or even killed worth it? How much human misery does the owners of city put their people worth? The fact is they are some of the most corrupt and morally bankrupt people in the world who see Football as a play thing which they can do what they want. The fact is every bit of silverware you have won is tainted and it will be known that the Britain was happy to benefit from the dirty money from basically criminals to corrupt our country.
Honestly, I'd rather that no money from oppressive regimes were allowed in sport. But try find a club anywhere without middle eastern, russian, chinese or yes, american money propping it up.
We didn't start the fire.

Also quite a lot of ordinary fans a bit peeved at the recent behaviour of a 'club legend'...

It isn't that he wants to leave in itself that's the issue for many, I think (though that is a shame). It's the way Kane is going about it - destructive and also arrogant.

Unfortunately, due to contracts a player can't ask to leave and do it in a non acrimonious way anymore.

He knows, as we all do, that if he wants to go, he has to make himself unemployable.
Shit as it is, it's the only way.
Clubs don't want to sell their biggest assets, which isn't really wrong. But it also isn't right, either.

It does seem strange that a club so efficient at covers up FFP irregularities would make such mistakes.
Truth is no deal was struck, neither Citeh or Kane were in a position or entitled to do such.

so fuck you
We don't know the truth, yet. Like I said, this is just the way that I read it.

Sure, by letter of the rules, City and Kane weren't in a position to make one... but you can't fathom that a club makes a deal and then afterwards talks to the player in this day and age? Particularly a large deal involving a player of Kane's (or Grealish's) stature.

Burnt his bridges now. Basically HAS to move to Human Rights FC. No coming back from this.

It's easy to come back from.
All he has to do is sign another new contract, say he had some thoughts on his future but has decided he wants to see out his career at Spurs, break Greavsies record, break Shearers record and hopefully win some medals at Spurs.

Then carry on doing what he's done for the last 7 years.

To be fair, most Tottenham fans really wouldn't give much of a shit if we were taken over by a billionaire from Timbuktu if we started to sign world-class players and winning/challenging for things, regardless of what they try to insist. Sure, it feels nice to win something knowing you haven't spent silly amounts of money to achieve it but that rarely happens in football.
