Spurs are standing firm to hold their Captain and demanding higher value.
Just goes to show what a horrible move this was by Kane. The dressing room is clearly turning on him. As Redknapp said, Levy won't sell Kane until the figure he thinks is right has been reached. He will probably have to come back at some point.
I did not ask you to click on it - and, for your information, I am not bothered about it. But yet you are asking me whether it's "biased" lol. I am not going to answer it, ask someone else.So this only serves as confirmation bias then.....?
Q. What makes this racist tosser a worthwhile reference point?
He's not getting my clicks........
More chance of him showing he's a decent manager before that.
You still are, just in a very different way.
You never fail to make me laughA supporter of a different team on here? This usually goes well.![]()
Lebron. Who moved from his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers twice to join/form a super team to win titles.
I can't believe anyone is paying credence to this "Gentleman's agreement " bullshit.
Like it or not, football is a business, and if you want guarantees in business you get it in writing.
Spurs absolutely pushed the boat put as far as we could giving Harry 200k/ week for 6 years with that contract.
6 years is a risky fucking contract to give anyone, let alone a bloke with dodgy ankles.
He's trying to mug us off claiming gentleman's agreement.
Scanning these pages for the last three days and 90%+ of fan opinion is now against him. There's a lot of track to run but I would say yes - football is emotional, fans especially love their club and a refusal to play and train is seen as tantamount to treason.
Finally I think for the average person a 'professional' on 200k plus a week acting like a toddler and refusing to work leaves a sour taste. I pick up a reasonable wage but was getting stuck into some work at 9pm last night - not like for like obviously but it just strikes me, an ordinary guy who tries to work hard and do his best as pathetic behaviour from the cosseted super rich.

Hmmm…Kane could pay for his own replacement? That’s got to be The Sun stirring things up. Maybe it’s theoretically possible, but if City hasn’t actually made a bid, why would Kane pay that kind of money to hope they do?
'Were'? You're still shit. Just in a different way....
Sorry if anything I said came off as arrogant. Not my intention. I was there when we were shit.
I normally avoid anything with Jamie O'Hara on as he is usually anti spurs. But on my lunch break and a work mate was listening to to an interview. He said in it pretty much would you did. Gentleman's agreements don't really exist in football and commented on the amount of time he had been let down on a deal that was struck over a handshake. Said that it should have been written down and signed by both parties. Even old pros are dismissing it as a real reason.I can't believe anyone is paying credence to this "Gentleman's agreement " bullshit.

And because this is football we're talking about, any litigation would probably end up in front of the Court of Arbitration for Sport, where any damages would probably reduced down to a sternly-worded letter to Kane and City expressing how very disappointing their actions have been, and to not do anything like this again, pretty please.I think you are reading it wrong.
Kane would in that scenario buy his way out of his contract and move to City on a "free" transfer. Where he is most likely compensated by City.
Spurs would then sue the fuck out both parties, claiming interference and inducement. He wouldn't do something to make City make a bid for him.
