He was by far our best player. Doesn’t mean Son wasn’t great as well but Kane was undeniably better.

The bigger issue is that he's still got 3 years left on the contract. Player's threaten to sit out regularly with 1 left, but 3??? If he's successful in breaking his contract with 3 years left on it, then it may set a new standard for other players to follow.
