Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Why not ? Money talks mate. Offer them guaranteed football, plus a chance to stay in the premier league, why is it so impossible ? We are talking Silva and Laporte here mate. 2 great players but they ain’t Messi or Ronaldo are they ? They want to leave and are definitely within the realms of possible to be included in a swap deal with Kane
If money talks then we are a game of Chinese whispers mate

Why would Romero join us or Bryan Gil, we ain’t the top dog but we ain’t Bolton either. Laporte and Silva want out, we can offer them first team football, unless someone offers big money we are there only option.
Plus, the addition of them to what we've already bought, plus 2 quality strikers, might have them look at Spurs in a different light.

Add quality to what we have and we're definitely in with a shout for CL and honours.

Bernardo Silva and Laporte. This 2 guys should be demanded by Levy in any deal with Shity.

Romero and Laporte could be awesome in our defence. Bernardo with Son and a new striker could also be awesome.

Kane has more 3 years of contract, no release clause and is the best striker in Premier League.

We have to be calm, The power is in our hands... City has to put the money in the table.

You can't out either of those two on the level of Silva or Laporte

And neither of them joined us as a makeshift deal from city

I 99 percent agree with you.

But, to play devil's advocate for a quick second, and just on Laporte: Barca/Madrid are going to need at least a year, maybe 2 to get their finances sorted. Laporte takes a pay raise for 1st team football and a reasonable out clause so that a Spanish side can come get him within 2 years.

There's your 1 percent chance. Maybe half percent.

But, you're right.

If there's a players plus cash deal, and the players involved are legitimately very good players, expecting nine figures for Kane is refusing to take off your Spurs-colored glasses. City's first offer of 100m is laughable, and they surely realize that. But, equally, valuing Kane at 200m+ really doesn't seem serious to me. Yes, he's one of the best handful of strikers in the world; but he has had repeated serious injuries to his ankles, he's 28, there are not multiple suitors to drive up the market, and he is desperate to leave (which means other teams know Nuno probably doesn't want him dragging down the mood and soaking up all of the attention this year).

Maybe I'm being too pessimistic. But I think Silva and Laporte have serious value, and expecting 100m on top of them... I just can't see it.

vs Romero....

One was Seria A 'defender of the year' and just won the Copa..... The other spent much of last season on the bench.

It's not like Laporte is a Tier 1 CB..... Very good and would make us better, but not elite.

Romero by all reports was one of if not the best defenders in Italy last season and Messi was hard on him coming to Barca, he is not some small fry.
I hope he is as good as everyone seems to think

But it's still not really a comparable situation

Atalanta to Spurs is very different from being kicked out of man city to spurs as make weights in another deal

Maybe it could happen ,who knows with football anymore but I really can't see it

My "putting the pieces together" comes up to the same sort of conclusion.

I think that Harry thinks he has an agreement to be sold for £100,000,000.00

Harry even named the figure in his "interview" with Neville. Then tried to put the pressure on by basically saying "who knows what I'll be worth next year"

Sky reported that City had made this bid....
I think City really thought they would get him for that figure. And that Harry thought Levy would let him go for that.

I'll be surprised if there's any more to it.

And if that's the case, City can fucking do one. And Harry is being a grade A cunt (wouldn't be surprised if Levy is too). Don't know if I'd want him playing for us because I'd be so conflicted about how to react when he scored.
Personally don't care who puts the ball in the net for us I'll still celebrate no matter what but I'll never cheer or sing he's name ever again.

Would rather he goes now as long we get 160M + or similar deal with a player or 2 chucked in.

He was the top scorer last season, the top assister, easily one of the best attackers in world football playing in a position that comes at a premium on a 3 year deal signing not for a foreign club but domestic rival and not a pace reliant player (ie he can probably go on till mid/late 30’s). £150-160m maybe, maybe to Real Madrid but to a domestic rival owned by oil barons who paid £100m for Grealish. There is a reason we should demand high.

Yeah, I know deep down I wouldn't not be able to go mad, but agree on being fucked if I'm ever singing his name again without some serious reasons for the current situation.

Kane is going to lose so much respect on this. I don't give a shit if he has been advised poorly.

He will continue to score goals and and be given plaudits but none of these ex-professional or pundits will use him as that role-model for their kids.

He has completely lost that position and as England captain I feel he should be stripped of that as well.

I want him out of the club because there is no way anybody could believe he was committed after this.

We approach less than 10 days before our opening game and this bloke, whether on one pound or two hundred thousands per week is nowhere.

Utterly disgusting. He will be the first player I ever boo if he returns in any other jersey, simply because of how this has played out.

maybe you could reach out and give him some gratis training sessions, one on one?

Funny that Pochettino, Mourinho and Southgate have all put him in their teams, but you say he's shit.
One of them produced the best footballing spurs team in my lifetime and got us to a european cup final, one has won every bit of silverware going and the other got his national side to a WC semi and the european finals

What are your achievements in player selection?
By your own argument then you rate Sissoko???

After all Pochettino Mourinho and Deschamps all picked him regularly

And I agree that you should apologise for your aggressive patronising tone but I won’t hold my breath!!
