On a serious note, what do managers see that we don't? This is manager number four now. Is training more important than match day?

All eyes on Nuno how he handles this situation. And frankly, it is a situation as if this was an attempt at shop window dressing it has backfired.
Winks was once a good player. He'd play neat triangles, showed well for the ball, could carry it a bit and would draw fouls, was a much better physical presence in midfield. It helped that he had great, fit, athletic players around him.

Honestly, I think it has to be his ankles issues, because his defensive ability is just completely shot to pieces, he's a traffic cone in the midfield ghosted past a dozen times every game he plays. Gio was a poor partner for him tonight to be fair, both are far too dinky.

Those ankle injuries seemed to have wrecked him.

Hope he finds a place to move on to, but this isn't the place he'll resurrect his career.
