Opinion on this window?

Meh.

It's a start I suppose.

We're still way short of depth in key positions and our squad is nowhere near as strong as last season's Top 4.

6th at best.

6th AT BEST? You're telling me that if we perform to the fullest of our capacities, we'll end up 6th? We signed the best defender or Serie A last season, a decent RB from Barcelona, an exciting prospect and most importantly of all, kept the best striker in the world at the club. We can absolutely finish in 6th and it wouldn't be a surprise, but I believe this squad has the capability to sneak into the top 4 if one of Liverpool, United, Chelsea and City underperform (likelyhood in that order).

Why are people so scared of other clubs for fucks sake? Liverpool signed nobody to improve their starting 11. Chelsea only signed Lukaku, and while their squad is good, they're one Kante injury away from disaster (just like we're one Kane injury away), United I do agree look much scarier, and City while brilliant, we beat them in the first day of the season without our main player.

For me, it all depends if that lazy fuck starts being an actual professional and gets on with it. With him or a firing GLC in the starting 11, I'm not scared of anyone when it comes to direct matches. Need I remind you all we finished 6 pts behind the Champions League places last year, while dropping around 23pts in the last 10 minutes of a game?

He worries me near our box. I'm sure he took Grealish out in the first few minutes a couple of feet from the box, did exactly the same against Watford on Sunday AND had an incident inside the box Vs Wolves that could have gone either way.
He's not really mature enough yet. He's going to see a few red cards/penalties if he doesn't grow up quickly.

In the European Conference it doesn't really matter. Can play false 9 until the latter stages minimum. Scarlett may get a few goes in that, maybe Etete. Maybe Dele as false 9.

We have Wolves in the League Cup so I suspect Kane will play that, then it depends on our draws.

Tbh, if Kane is leaving us next season, I don't really care about protecting him. We should get all we can out of him.
Where to? That is a massive assumption doubt Man City ever come back especially how pissed off Guardiola is with him. Utd have got Ronaldo this summer doubt they will bid for Kane. Liverpool have enough problems with the age of their strike force so they are not going to bid for Kane and Chelsea have got Lukaku. If Kane wants to spend the rest of his career in the Premier League I think he is stuck at Tottenham so he is better off signing a large contract and concentrating on winning his trophies here.

Alright, calm down. Just my opinion.

I am a bit shocked that we don't bring in more Llorente-type players. He was enormous for us in both the league and CL as a backup and then we never replaced the basic skill set.

The ability to change the way we play when it's not working is sorely needed. And, having a striker that plays a bit of a different game is always helpful.

That's a fair assessment.
