That's over, he has signed the contract already.I'd be shocked if this guy get's over the line without Aurier leaving.
I have this image of him waiting for the phonecall to confirm he can sign

And yet we've struggled to offload "deadwood" (I hate that phrase) because of the wages we pay.The disparity as a percentage of turnover is much less dramatic (obvious, right? The clubs that make more spend more) and Spurs have been dead last by a mile, just operating alone in an entirely singular level of penury, for years and years.
And what have we done this window? Further lowered our wage bill.
Just checking it was my post you were responding to and then if so, if you actually read my post. Some people just like to bitch and moan, I guess. Especially in hindsight, I guess. IIRC there was very much a "the jury's still out" feeling about Grealish, when we were in for him. All the same, Levy stepped on from that (and most of his dealings) to pull out all the stops to get Ndombele from under the noses of bigger clubs. IIRC basically everyone thought we'd signed a superstar at the time. As it turned out, Grealish became the superstar and Ndombele a lazy fuck. Hindsight's lovely ain't it. Still....
Why don't you just pay up instead of haggling to tight, bald fucker?
When he does pay up: Why did you pay that much you stupid, bald fucker?
I'm sat firmly on the meeeeeeh fence with regards to Levy, before the Levy apologist comments flood in. He's doing some things superbly, and with other things I'd prefer a (much) different approach. In any case, I'd rather be on the fence and take each thing on its own merit, than being someone who blatantly complains just to complain.
Ndombele can do that role, he might not be a proper striker but he can play and hold the ball up pretty well. as well as offload. it's one of the reasons i'd like to see him start on the right of a front 3 with Kane & Son, to see how well he can perform up there. Can’t we get a cheap loan striker who can do the hold up play like Llorente just until Scarlett is upto speed.
We did offload most. Sissoko, Lamela, Toby and Hart. Only Winks, Doherty and Aurier left...And yet we've struggled to offload "deadwood" (I hate that phrase) because of the wages we pay.
You make some very sensible points there, yes. Some people just like to bitch and moan, I guess. Especially in hindsight, I guess. apparently we inserted a buy back and sell on clause with CirkinI think we've done alright in that dept
Out
Alderweireld, Sissoko, Foyth, Hart, Lamela, Gazzaniga, Rose, Okedina, Cirkin, Eyoma, Marsh, Roles, Sterling, Tracey, Skinner, Asante, Ferguson, Cooper, Richards, Whittaker, Carrington.
That's approx £60m pa off the payroll. The only one I'm disappointed about going is Cirkin but applaud the kid wanting to get games now and looking for that move that enables him to do so. Very few clubs have sold players, the market is dominated by loans.
Gonna cost ya your job fella
I find that ralgex spray does the job.Neves ought to improve us, but the overall package doesn't make my balls tingle.

Just for clarification, I loved Lamela and Toby, but it was clear that we planned to shift them off.
