Tottenham fans looking at the firmly shut transfer window.
We're done folks,

This would make it a 10/10 window.

God. We're so lucky.
Can't we just throw in Winks and 30M for Traore ? That seems like the obvious bridge to 40M. I know the statistics are an outage for the Spaniard, but putting him next to Sonny and behind Kane would surely lead to a very productive season. He terrorized United on Sunday vs that world class Luke Shaw (chuckle) and at the age of 24 has a bright future ahead.

We've heard from several sources now that things were progressing nicely until Levy got involved.
  • Refused to sanction the Traore deal (with the only offer we made being insultingly low).
  • Is adamant that we're creating enough chances and have enough attackers as it is.
  • Refuses to consider moving on Bergwijn to free up space/finances.
Tensions are high right now and that might mean he caves in the final few hours but I think we're all expecting it to be over and no one's happy about it.

Whilst I think it's all poppycock and they make shit up, this is very likely scenario now.

Don't see all the fuss about a creative midfielder and a Striker to be honest

Matt Docherty can do a job up front if needed and I have faith in Winks to step up and be our Modric/Eriksen like playmaker in the middle of the park

We are currently top of the strongest league in the world , that means we are basically the best team in the world , who out there could we find that is better than what we have , impossible job in my opinion

People need to remember that signing a striker isn't like popping to the corner shop for a loaf of bread and a pint of milk you know

We have a strong squad and now that the Dinosaur is out of the club these players will show truly how elite they are

I think it's been a fantastic window , long live the Don and massive credit to Levy for hiring him

Sounds like bollocks to me.

I'd imagine the plan was laid out very clearly early on that certain incomings were dependent on outgoings. For that reason we haven't gone for a creative midfielder since Ndombelly is still hanging around.

Moriba we probably thought was worth going for as a bargain too good to refuse.

We were probably spending the Kane money with the Martinez and Pau Torres links and once it was clear he was staying we scrapped those plans. The stuff about wanting an attacker to play WITH Kane was clearly nonsense.

I guess Emerson is an exception because the RB situation is quite dire with our only decent option being a converted CB from the academy at present.

City - 18 shots
Wolves - 25 shots
Watford - 9 shots

Anyone thinking Dier and Sanchez are reliable need to watch the games a bit closer.
You're counting Watfords shots as dangerous? They were 30 yards out for goodness sake...
Wolves had 10 shots blocked out of the 25.
City are the Premier League champions, and apart from Mahrez at the beginning, they weren't threatening at all.
