It's all a bit slow at the moment so here's a game for you all - can you name the whining wankers who made these posts before the City Game?

- we have the two donkeys Dier and Sanchez at the back, no creativity in the midfield , and sissoko , winks , aurier, and Davies still as options ...... I’m going with a 1-4 loss

- we are left with the same crap team as last season if not worse. The same rubbish defence that can’t defend will start. I couldn’t care less of Dier and Sanchez played well pre season. When it comes to the crunch and when the pressure is on, they fail to deliver on a regular basis.

- I fear for us with any combination of Dier/Sanchez/Rodon against City's attacking talent. Would rip your hand off for a draw but can see us going down 3-1

- not a chance we are winning with Sanchez and Dier at the back. Utter dog shit, we will get smashed to pieces.

- Kane will be sold on deadline day. We all know how this scenario plays out by now. Probably already agreed between player and chairman. Kane gets his wish at the cost of being painted the villain.

- I find it very difficult to get any enthusiasm for this match and hope we do not end up bottom of the league on Goal difference

anyone get all six out of six? same whining wankers posting the same negative shit today ... do they enjoy looking like dicks?

Do I get extra points as I had to press 'show ignored content' to find those posts??

Everybody saying not signing a striker is criminal look no striker with any talent and ambititon is gonna play behind Harry Kane he is hardly injured and always scoring there is no chance.
It doesn't have to be a traditional no 9, it could be a support striker or goal scoring wing forward that can play with Kane as well. I'd also say Kane is injured almost every season now and will still likely want to leave next summer. Its an opportunity for a striker not a lack of ambition.

Certainly not me. Although I did expect to lose against the best team last season and without our best player.

His Chelsea career highlight was getting clattered by Devine.

To be fair, and for context, we've still only got the 12th best XGA in the PL (4.21) Although exactly half of that (2.11) came in the city game.

We are defending a bit better as a team I think, being more aggressive, with more of that aggression coming from midfield, and the CM3 format is protecting the CB's better IMO.

Thus far, the best I can say about Nuno, is that he appears to have at least identified some of the inherent problems we have structurally and without the ball, and appears to have tried to address them both in application and structurally - which was the very least I expected Mourinho to do and in 18 months he completely failed to. I emphasise appears because it's only been three games...
edit: ups, unlocked phone in the pocket haha

Thank you, another great example of a club that everyone agrees is run terribly but is comparable or even ahead of us in recent “success.”

Now you are getting it. Using clubs that we all agree are shit or run terribly shows how bad things are under ENIC.
Your problem is you have an agenda, so you wont listen to any argument that doesnt agree with it, much like a religious or political fanatic. I dont give a fuck about ENIC, Im just tired of people using an FA cup and a league cup win as examples to why we are worse off now than we were then, when its really obvious we arent. Shit teams can win the odd cup, its simply not a good measurement of club progress. I dont know why I am bothering trying to explain it to you though since your mind is already made up.

But I guess you made the same argument yourself, admitting to how badly Woolwich are run, yet they won the FA cup. So deep down I'm sure you understand it.

I have no agenda.

All I have done is point out that using clubs that we all agree are poorly run or way below us as comparable shows how poor we have been.
Those comparisons don’t get made with the well run clubs around us.

Thats the thing now the expectations of most posters on here is that we need someone like danny ings quality they aint coming here because they want to be first option.

Ings can play in a two or slightly wide so he could play with Kane or cover him. He is very versatile so that would have been in my view a good signing but I was fine with Vinnie.

It is absolutely insane that he can make it to be a Premier League footballer with all the commitment, talent, competition, hard work and luck that that entails only to get there and say fuck it. And then even more insane to think that Real, Barcelona or PSG would be scrambling to sign him based on his recent seasons.

However it's even more worrying that our club would pay him £220,000 a week and that Levy would make him our record signing particularly when he quibbled over paying £27m for grealish instead of £25m.

I think we should loan him to Newcastle or Woolwich but pay all his wages to make sure they take him. What a cunt. And when I say cunt I mean, an absolute cunt.

Levy should invest in an in-house psychologist and a soft play area with edible crayons and a gutter for the river of tears.
I'd have offered to loan him to any French or potentially Italian club that had a player we fancied, TBH. No one in England would be interest, I don't think, as it was pointed out his problem seems to be with England and not Spurs. Unless you just wanted to spitefully lump him up to the northeast...but that probably damages future recruiting efforts.
