That's really funny coming from a country that laundered money for the nazis, the mob etc......unbelievable hypocrisy. The Swiss Government denied Abrahmovic citizenship on the fact he laundering his money through Chelsea. Chelsea still owe him £1.7 billion.
I don't have twitter so I don't know who you're talking about. Info please.
Excellent post.Yup, very well put.
When you get right down to brass tacks then, the problem isn't the suits, it's us.
En masse, humanity isn't really that smart. We're happy to accept our lot in life as long as we have the creature comforts, something that, even for a short time, suspends reality and allows us to either just switch off or daydream. We are the most exploitable commodity there is, and there's Billions of us.
Most will do no more than dream about being at the top of the food chain, whilst many rail against those that are. We'll complain about being exploited, yet do sweet FA to change that reality.
The funny thing is, whilst humanity as a whole isn't really that smart, it has a lot of power, it just hasn't got a clue how to exercise it. We're so scared of losing the little that we do have, we're not, as a whole, prepared to gamble that against what we COULD have.
Sounds very Marxist that hey?
I'm afraid that human nature will always get in the way. To really make a difference to the game, people need to vote with their feet. Don't buy the ticket, don't subscribe to the media sports channels, don't buy the merch. Were we able to do that, there's no commodity to exploit.
The problem is though that for every one of us that did that, there's at least 2 who'll take your place.
So we've only really got ourselves to blame. How many here have complained about the season ticket prices, yet paid them anyway? We kid ourselves that we do it out of Love for the club, yet I see so many absolutely miserable as a result of it, so why do it?
Like I said, it's a drug, and the suits et al know we're addicted.
Have you ever known a drug dealer tell his customers that they won't sell to them? Or do they just charge them more because they know they can and those customers will still come back for more?
The only way to change our game is to break the habit en masse...
But this is the real World, and we know that that'll never happen.
Yes, and that was actually my point in making this list, i.e. that there is no way that Spurs - despite of being aware of all these players - possible can't be interested in most of them: some not being good enough, while some are out of Spurs budget. The press has a vested interest in trying to mention a lot of players allegedly being scouted by Spurs and being made transfer targets - same players often linked with our rivals too. Reason they do it is "clicks," - they get money out of advertiser's out of it or they sell newspapers ( in the old world)
If you revised your list to be those linked by " credible sources" ( and we might disagree with who some of the credible sources are ) I suspect two thirds or more of those players disappear.
If you then showed the revised shorter list to our transfer team they would probably take out at least 75% of them - but add at least a dozen players most of whom neither of us have ever heard of and say "that is our short list of say 25 players who we have started negotiations on to see if there is a deal to be done.
And of that 25 maybe sign 6 players.
So all those links make for good entertainment, but we ought to know that at least 75% of the links ( maybe more) are just a journalist' s dream , it's not reality.
Mind you, I am not claiming any of the "sources" for those players being linked to Spurs are reliable - rather the opposite. What is the source which linked us to Ronaldo , Haaland and Lewandowski?
Apparently we now have 9th most valuable squad in the world, one place higher than Barcelona.
However above us are 4 other PL teams which takes the shine off that statement a little.

I'd be interested to know how they work that out. A fair amount of guesswork, I'm guessing.
Like clockwork! LMFAOOooooh look, whadya know; it's the 4 EPL teams that are richer than us above us too.....
Another shocker..... That list is pretty much reflective of fthe ootball club rich list.... Except we're higher than par.
Fag packet abacus crayons I'm told.I'd be interested to know how they work that out. A fair amount of guesswork, I'm guessing.

They havent done any guessing. They have just copied transfermarkt.com's guesses. Useless people cant even make their own guesses.I'd be interested to know how they work that out. A fair amount of guesswork, I'm guessing.

It's all estimates of course, but the bigger issue is that they'll be valuing all the players at their maximum theoretical value, which cannot ever be realised because it would require all teams to sell all their players in the same window. And Kane is only worth £150m or whatever if a club actually pays it. Which they didn't .I'd be interested to know how they work that out. A fair amount of guesswork, I'm guessing.
Wages are facts. So definitely more credible then some guy in a dark room guessing what Kane is worth.
