Match Palace v Spurs 11th Sept 12:30 - Selhurst Park

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Today had all the ingredients didn’t it?

Unbeaten, top of the table and Manager of the Month…

Then the international break fucked us yet again.

By 90 mins - early injury, red card, penalty.

Spursy

And then there’s the performance and in-game management 😆😆😆

Watched the whole game. Very bad!

Yes, I know were forced to make an early sub for Dier and that definitely affected things but why no Gil or Dembele?

Also, I liked the Emerson Royal signing but my word, that was a shocking shocking debut.
That was shite all the game. Wrong line up, very wrong line up. Refused tô make subs, we should haver changed within 30 minutes, couldn't even get near their box, counter wasn't working and we had zero creativity. Also he decides to wait, I tought ok, second half we'll explore their fatigue, but we kept the fucking same shite as the first half, WHAT THE FUCK WAS THE PLAN? Dier injury and Tanganga red didn't changed absolute nothing in this game, we were absolute passangers, with no fucking game plan. And what do you do as a manager tô changed that? NOTHING! Just watch It with a pigeon face as you are Just watching the game and the manager is another person.

The state of this place. Played terribly today and I don’t think anyone would argue differently. But to call for Nuno’s sacking after one loss is ridiculous. Did y’all think we were the new invincibles?

There are far worse issues at the club than Espirito Santo. The midfield has and will continue to be the biggest problem until we bring in at least a couple of top quality players. It's arguably the most important area of any team and it's our most hopeless.

We've played one decent match against City. Wolves/Watford were not good. Nuno not correcting any of the problems in match or between matches.

He's not getting fired but he's basically living up to everyone's fears and concerns. There's not even an obvious plan to build towards as of yet.

Santo doing Mourinho Santa

Because one is a waste of oxygen and the other still adapting.

That's not to say they couldn't have done better than what's been out there for us today, not at all. Gil definitely should have come on. But we shouldn't make them out to be something they aren't just because others were/are so shit.
If there were any wastes of oxygen look no further than winks and davies.

No getting away from it that was fucking woeful from start to finish. I've always thought managers deserve a chance and Nuno does, but a few more like today, the negative lineup, lack of fight, chucking in the towell when down to 10 men, then patience will wear thin pretty quick.
