There is every way.

Who's in? Ledley?

There is so much corporate bullshit invested in NuNot, its like trying to change the direction an oil tanker

I take that as a Winks - PEH Pivot. I hope you a fucking with me.
Sleep well dude.
More like philosophical tbh. The squad isn’t the best but surely is much better than what we are showing. The football is horrendous
And that's the thing isn't it. When you are top of the table playing like shit, you are in a room where everyone is cheering and it feels like you just want to leave but can't because there's beers and nice sandwiches.

We needed Conte.

Instead Levy decided to faff about over allowing Conte to bring in his own backroom staff, allegedly.

Conte would have been just as pointless as Mourinho. You cant take a manager who has managed some of the biggest and most successful clubs in europe, dealing with the biggest names in football, with owners willing to spend whatever it takes to get their star players, and put that manager in an environment like Tottenham with the chuckle brothers Daniel and Joe who will chuck Conte a few mill here and a few mill there and a 19 year old unknown player from the french league and expect that manager to emulate his past successes.

We need a manager with a distinct playing style that knows how to get his hands dirty and has experience working at clubs where funds are limited and yet still manage success. Thats why Poch was so successful. No matter what the squad was Poch would guarantee those players would be the fittest and cover the most ground in the league. When we had young players that could run all day and an attacking pressing style it was effective.

Just remember Frank De Boer got sacked after 4 games. If a manager isn’t the right fit, he isn’t the right fit. Instead of dragging this out when we know full well where it’s ending, bite the bullet and just admit they made a huge mistake. He’s only on a 2 year contract so the pay off won’t be huge. We need to get rid now.
He had lost all his games.

No manager is getting sacked so early having won half the games played. It’s just not happening.

Clear to me that nobody like this beard sandwich - "inside" rumours this early aren't a good sign

What rumours? Skipp has come out today saying the players are all working hard and are behind the manager. Lloris said the same in the week. I know everyone likes a drama around spurs but it sounds like the players are still with the manager. Until they stab another one in the back he’ll more than likely keep his job.

The moment Brenda gets canned Levy will be calling him. Guaranteed.
Yeah he's waiting for this.

I just don't think he will get canned this year. So we will have Nuno for this season.

I'm not looking at results anymore. Top 4 was gone before the season started. Europa League looks done. We will be midtable.

We need to be active on January window. Normally we don't do anything, but I think Nuno was brought in as a scapegoat to work with a transitioning squad for a year. I'm pretty sure the board and paratici weren't expecting good results on the pitch this season. So they'll eventually sack him next summer.

The biggest problem with this strategy is that the players brought in might not be what the new manager wants. Whoever that is.

Fucking DOF system doesn't work at Spurs. I'm going mad saying it. Our best years recently have been under managers (Poch, Harry, and to an extent Jol who didn't like Comolli) who refused to have a DOF. They picked their own scout and told them to find these players with x, y, z attributes.

Currently we are going to have paratici buying players and the manager having to make something out of them. Classic example is Sarr. What happens if the new manager doesn't want Sarr?

We had our best period of signings under Commoli as a DOF - Modric, Lennon, Dawson, Huddlestone, BAE, Corluka, Gomes, Berbatov and got them for good money as well.

The money that we are generating now and in the future needs to be spent by a DOF, the problem with giving the manager money is that if he gets sacked them we are left with his signings that we need to get rid off and the new manager may not be able to work with them.

We should always sign players that fit the club's ethos not the managers, so when we bring in a new manager he should be able to use the players and settle quicker.

Also had great signings when avb came. Lloris, Dembele, Vertonghen, Siggurdson in 1 window.

Levy tried the DoF thing way back on 2002, and the DoF ended up as manager after a month

It’s never really worked for us

Comolli is mostly Rose tinted glasses, it was Redknapp that made that team into something
