LOL, whiny fans because we want to see our club be more than medicore and average?
because it's still early days and it's not an easy job for nuno given how lousy kane is. he should bench him since he has 0 assists and 0 goals so far in the league but you have to appreciate that it is difficult. we won three in a row and then lost 3. it's not really a big deal as we have 12 points from 7 games. after liverpool - city we will be 4 or 5 points from the top spot, depending on who wins it. 2 behind united. it is not bad at all and today we played really well. give him a chance. half a season at least.

yup, i remember when son was new, he got so many negative posts at this forum. takes a lot for fans to change their initial view it seems like and it becomes personal. just look at kane, he is aweful with 0 goals and 0 assists but yet a lot of posters thinks that is no problem.

I will be happy with nuno as long as we play like we did today and get results. we are right in the game just a few points off the top team.

It might not have felt like it (it certainly didn’t feel like it to me at the time!) but if you look at the stats from the recent NLD we beat or matched Woolwich across various metrics
53% of possession
10 shots to their 12
Passing 85% to their 82%
Tackles 78% to their 68%.

We had 3 clear cut chances - Kane miss, Kane penalty appeal that Ref was asleep for and Moura hitting the crossbar and I can’t think that Woolwich had any clear cut chances they didn’t take.

Now I know that they say that “there are lies, damned lies and statistics” and maybe that explains the difference between the result and the stats, but there is definitely a better performance on paper there than the sense at the time gave.

while i do not expect Nuno to last long am delighted to have bagged the win today and hope we can push on a bit the leaque will be tight enough around the chasing pack to middle so important to stay as high up as we can so at least when the manager is changed we are not that far away .

so we're two points behind man utd and city. 3 behind liverpool. we are really having a TERRIBLE season so far. must sack the nuno straight away.

what were you expecting before the season? to be ahead of all those teams after 7 games? being just one win behind them is shockingly bad for 76% apparently??

I always love when apologists come in with how many points we are behind teams early in the season like that matters at all and is down to anything other than there not being many games played.

Year after year it is shown not to matter but yet here we are again with the BS "only 2 points behind" nonsense.

yea, it's better to be urther behind. wonder why city fans are not calling for peps head. they are level with everton.
oh, we lost 3 games in a row.. forgetting we actually won 3 games in a row before that. love it.

Why would City call for Pep's head they look good so far this season? He has led them to multiple trophy wins.

Nobody is forgetting the 3 wins they are remember how awful we played and how lucky we were to win in each game. People are looking at the team projecting how they will look going forward and it looks bad.

Feel free to bury your head in the sand and go with the "only two points behind" BS. It has never worked in the past but maybe this time where you are after 7 weeks will matter more than how good a team you have. There is a first time for everything.

Lets hear your projection then. Place in the league by christmas and end of season under nuno? (if he stays)

Then we can go back and see who is full of BS

I haven't changed since the start of the season I would say somewhere between 8-12. If you want an exact place I would say 10th with Villa and WH passing us.

Still don't think he's anywhere close to being long term but he's phased Winks out and possibly phased Dele out. Maybe he does have some idea. Hopefully next he phases Ndombele out. I think he's fucking dogshit. Hit the disagrees, I don't care. Get Lo Celso in and try to play the same team week in week out in the league.
