According to Talk Radio the game on Saturday is being titled the "El Sacko! "

The question is :- If either team loses will they really sack their man ?

Is this just media talk ?

For our position there is only the same choices who either refused to come or who absolutely did not want to come. People are calling for Howe or Parker, but these were available and rejected.

So even if lose to a depressed, uncoordinated United, ate we REALLY going to sack a man who has had no time to sort out our mess. Maybe we need to appreciate that this is not the team of Walker, Toby, Jan , Rose.

We now are rebuilding and it is going to be messy !

To his credit Nuno seems to trying to force Levi to sell Dele And Winks, having cut out Aurier and Sissoko.

The next stage must be to get another decent C.F. and a box-to-box midfielder with a cutting pass.

All in all "how long does a new manager get to sort out a club ? "

People have been calling this match ‘El Sackico’ for the last few days. I don’t think Nuno is sacked if he loses this game, and as for Ole, it doesn’t seem like United have anyone concrete lined up right now, but another loss and they’ll have to seriously consider letting him go

I think Ole genuinely has to win this game to stay in his job. You can't go and lose again after getting spanked 5-0 at home by your closest rivals.
Nuno on the other hand might get away with this one unless we get seriously dicked but Levy might consider pulling the trigger if we lose at Everton, we have a winnable run of fixtures if a new manager can get an early run of good form, whereas playing how we are you even fear teams like Leeds or Brentford who we should beat at home on paper look like a toss up.

I don't know how Ole is still in a job. 5-0 loss to their biggest rivals. 4-2 to them last year as well. We beat them 6-1. They've just been smacked by Leicester 4-2. How many more times does his team have to get pumped before they accept he's not good enough?

The patience they've shown him is amazing.

Nuno won't be sacked because that is not what teams do, he deserves to be sacked but will be given more time, not because he has shown any reason to think that he will improve the club but because there is some unwritten rule that managers get time no matter how clear it is they are a bad fit.

Ole should have been canned long ago and it is getting to the point that even the Glazers can't ignore how god awful he is. Man U should be competing for the title and easily in the top 4 not getting dropped out of the CL in the group stage, finishing well back of City and now struggling to stay in the top 4 because of the likes of Brighton being ahead of them.

He probably won't be sacked after the United game. But lose the Everton game and have a negative result in the home leg vs Vitesse and he has to be done.

Ole won't be sacked till they get a suitable replacement lined up...... If he manages to string some results together in the time it takes to line someone up he may be able to stay in the job longer.

Nuno won't be sacked unless we're relegation threatened or have a run of 5/6 losses and draws.

Which game on Sunday??....🤷‍♂️

Uno (uncle Albert) is Levy's puppet . All he has to do is keep us top half . Nobody decent wants the job. His football is pure crap and unenjoyable. He has a weak squad , given poor , mainly mediocre signings and punts .
There is no coordinated rebuild just a mess , Levy overlooks everything and his frugality, poor decisions will only shackle us.
We ain't going anywhere and even a cunt like Levy realises this , top 4 is an impossibility.
The club has other priorities to extend their portfolio.
Ole was a poor sentimental choice . He has come from a club and fan base that demand success and failed. He is on last legs .

He'd definately get the Everton game but if we get 0 or 1 point from those 2 matches we'll likely be 11th or 12th in the table and playing arguably the most boring football in the division. He should be sacked then but suspect the lack of availability of anyone good would probably keep him in the job for now.

I would be sounding out Tedesco right now.

Young, exciting, tactical coach that has done well in his 2 decently big jobs already.

And then what ? Surely he is just minding the shop until PSG have a bad result and Poch becomes available again.
Then and only then will ENIC either sell or open the moneysafe.
Clearly we are buying everything for 2026 and hoping he will come back by then to manage the players bought by Patrichi.
MEANWHILE they balance the books with NFL and

We go for a young and exciting manager like Tedesco.

Easily solved problem.

Unfortunately there is no pressure on Nuno tomorrow as all the attention from every media outlet is on OGS.

Levy can sit comfortably knowing he can save a few more quid for another week as it'll only be Spurs fans that give a shit.

Honest, United could win by a cricket score and Nuno would barely get a mention all week.

If Utd lose this one they will take decisive action, sack OGS and have someone in place (probably Conte) before the next league game.

If we lose, nothing will happen, we will plod on through to the international break, and if things don't improve before the next international break maybe we will sack Nuno 6 games after he should have gone (wait, I think we're already beyond that...) anyway, it will be after the horse has bolted as usual.

Then Levy will have to wait for the moon and stars to align, Mercury to be in retrograde, Jupiter to be ascending, Friday 13th, in a leap year, and a freebie former Chelsea manager just happens to be available (but not Conte!) before appointing a new gaffer...
