He didn't actually do anything though and his play with the ball was terrible. What changed is we stopped playing crap teams like Wolves, Watford and a disinterested City team and running around doing nothing doesn't do much against better teams.
The Liverpool midfield moves the ball so much better than ours. Keita, Henderson, Elliot, Thiago all much better passers than PEH, Skipp, Dele.
Again this was smoke and mirrors against weak teams early on in the season.
The 3 speedy fuckers created basically nothing. We scored on a goalie error leading to a penalty, a terrible goalie error on a lucky free kick and a great shot by Son. We didn't create chances, we didn't look threatening at all.
It wasn't a decent 4-3-3 in any way.
In came Harry and the smoke and mirrors of early results against favourable competition was what changed.
This may be true but the new horizon can't be a front line with Bergwijn and Moura who can't score in the PL and Son playing out of position in the middle of a 3. Especially when they are supported by a midfield with zero creativity and massive issues progressing the ball.
The team has issues and Kane is an easy target but removing him and not addressing the real issues, which is that the players we have are not close to good enough will do nothing.
A Bergwijn-Son-Moura frontline is complete dogshit. 3 games in which they created nothing and got lucky doesn't change that.
