He is an upgrade on PEH so if we brought him in to fill that role then we are better, especially going forward.
But if he is brought in to play alongside PEH and/or Skipp then that is likely going to be a problem.

And the issue is using a winger like Lucas over better players like Ndombele or Lo Celso who would be in if we played 3-5-2.

His Inter were pretty interchangey and mix and matchy with the MF3, I don’t see why that wouldn’t be the case here.
It’s not like this needs and out-and-out 6 or out-and-out 10 to work, it’s really most notable in that it doesn’t.
