But Lloris is better. No point creating work in a position now we are more than adequately fine in when so many other areas of the team require work.
I do not think that is necessarily true. Lloris has become a much less mobile keeper over the years, and his passing is not great. At some point, even his shot-stopping will start to decline. We need to replace him before that point, and when we do replace Lloris, we will need to spend a lot of money to find a guaranteed world class keeper. Onana fits all of the criteria, assuming he hasn't lost anything in the last 12 months. He would be an ideal choice, and if the move needs to be made in January, it needs to happen.

I don't see where shipping Ndombele out at this point makes sense. He cost too much to recoup, I think we've all seen that he has the talent, and I think Conte can get him playing his best. PEH should be staying too, even if just used in a rotation. I agree on the rest, though. I actually wouldn't mind seeing Skipp go out on loan to another Prem or upper-level Championship side for a season or two, while we get in someone who can really boss it for us in the meantime. I think Skipp could have a long, successful career with us, but he's not quite there yet.
Let’s send our best performing midfielder this season out on loan. That should help us solidify midfield:contefacepalm2:

Sorry, but Skipp has done little more than work hard. We need some one to pull strings in midfield and to that, you need to have experience and nous. He may get there but I don't think he's close yet.
Agree to disagree. You need players that put in hard work. Players with his work rate and skill set that also pull strings don’t grow on trees. Unless we are looking to find the next modric (good luck with that).

The CM pulling strings should be the one replacing PEH. PEH can backup Skipp in the ball winner role.

It's not about the fee. We could offer him for a fiver, but few teams can afford his wages. That's the sticking point.
I think a big Spanish club would take him. He’s made for la liga it’s just less demanding than the EPL as evidenced by Lamela tearing it up wit Sevilla. One or two of the big ones there could afford him. Not sure how much of a fee we would get though.
Swap deal ahead I reckon.

Barca are skint; particularly on the wage-bill end of things...... Real have other fish to fry....... Meanwhile, Ndombele is Simeone's worst nightmare.

Onana should be viewed as a long term replacement for Lloris, not a #2. I'd be happy in fact if Lloris was moved on in the summer if Onana was the replacement. Then we can look at bringing in a HG backup to him instead.
Big risk considering he's serving a 12-month ban for doping (think it might have been reduced to 9 months) but this includes banned not only from playing but training too.

To play Conte's preferred brand of football though having a keeper that is good with his feet is of paramount importance, I think Onana is alright in this dept. probably better than Hugo.
