I dunno. I don’t watch them. But IF it turns out conte doesn’t fancy him we will have to get rid of him somehow so I am speculating as to how we might achieve that.

I like him but by any definition he’s been hit and miss at best during his time with us.

Yeah this would be my only concern. Long period to have not been to the training ground but hey, players often come back from serious injuries which last longer, and that includes the risk of permanent damage. May be a bit of rust when he comes in, but would not be a major worry I don't think.

He is good with the ball from what I've seen, 100% better than Lloris is. Always seemed very calm on the ball, eager to start counter attacks, and noticeably good at playing the sweeper role. A quick glance at his stats also show that in Europe at least he was making more saves than expected, and was great across the board.

At 25 if we were to get him and he was good, that's your keeper for possibly a decade sorted.
