Sorry, but Skipp has done little more than work hard. We need some one to pull strings in midfield and to that, you need to have experience and nous. He may get there but I don't think he's close yet.

This should deal with it.

Final proof that you should never comment on anything spurs/football related again. Humiliating take. Stevie Wonder could see that Skipp is ready, you assified cow.

Bale is an upgrade on what we have but not an upgrade on what we should be looking to bring in.

Indeed but as a January move to bring in someone who can actually score some goals it would be a positive move. If someone big is gettable in January go for that instead, but don't want another Bergwijn situation. Really hard to sign genuine talent mid-season.

I would hope we have better options than Bale even in January, but yes he is better than nobody.

I also am not a fan of playing the 3-4-3 so not sure where Bale fits if he is not the RW in that front 3.

In a 3-5-2 I think you can play Bale as either one of the two forward players. Would be a solid rotation option who can actually score goals, vs the paltry amount Bergwijn and Lucas usually offer. If someone brilliant is available in Jan then great go for it, but if we have to tide ourselves over till summer then fine.

Just opened this thread to people suggesting we loan out Skipp.

Let’s send our best performing midfielder this season out on loan. That should help us solidify midfield:contefacepalm2:

We have failed to score against Palace, Chelsea, West Ham, Man United and Everton
Whilst a lot of the blame lies with the forward players, there is clearly an issue linking defence and midfield. Unfortunately for Skipp, all I'm seeing is sideways passing. Conte may have a word in his ear and give him the chance to look up more and be more ambitious with it, but I can't see him getting as much game time going forward of he's always passing to the side.

Conte needs some cash to spend in January.
It will be interesting to see who he endeavours to move on in January.
Conte needs to stay longer than his average 1.2 year contract to turn this team around.
By the end of January, Conte knows if he is staying long term or going.

Once again, publically humiliating yourself. Be quiet before you damage your already piss poor reputation further.

He’s not been coached yet, we had a fake, mute caretaker who didn’t speak to anyone and looked like he was sleeping rough.

Being dynamic and taking risks is Conte’s game and I can see him having a big influence on the way Skipp passes and potentially even the hapless PEH too.

I agree with your point don’t get me wrong, but I’m confident it will be massively improved and quickly too
