Sterling wants out of Man City and would solve our right sided and home grown problems (if we hopefully sell winks and Dele). He can be up and down but he’d be a better option than some random from Italy who might not take to the league.

Let's be honest; without the likes of KDB around him he's just Lucas-deluxe...... Seeing him dribble AT players every week would drive me insane.

It's more about the player and the fact that de Ketelaere I think has a higher ceiling.

Vlahovic is too one footed for me, whereas de Ketelaere has shown good instincts to shoot off both feet. He's secondly a workhorse. You watch Watkins run the channels and de Ketelaere can do the same but has more quality in the finish. Vlahovic doesn't run the channels. But I wouldn't be upset with getting Vlahovic because he can offer a plan as a target man. Something we have missed since Llorente.

De Ketelaere also works his socks off and I can see Conte liking him because of this. de Ketelaere can also play as the central striker or in the right of a 3. He normally plays on the right for Belgium with Lukaku in the middle. Vlahovic doesn't play any other position apart from CF.
Also I'm not basing de Ketelaere performances just off Belgian league, but more off champions league against teams like PSG, man City, Leipzig.

Tbh if you offered both to me and then flog Kane in the summer I would take that deal.

Yeah those complaining about Kane's lack of movement and running will not be happy with Vlahovic. Don't know much about the Belgian lad though.

£400m for Spurs under FFP the most of any club by a mile not that I am expecting that to be spent.

Funny reading the comments about the 1bn debt, most fans are financially clueless aren’t they? Can’t tell the difference between long term low interest bonds and short term debt to cover players and wages. Frighting how these people must deal with their credit cards and mortgages, they must think they are one and the same.

Take him out of the Man City set up and he's maybe a mild upgrade on Lucas, no ta...

True. His England form is very frustrating. But surely he just needs a manager to tell him what's what. Southgate is never going to do that, he is too weak. Although I guess that is why he is on the bench at Man City.

I suppose none of them have a mortgage and paid fees their house in cash or don't buy anything as they are swimming in debt.

...The potential to spend and stay within FFP does not mean that Spurs either have the money available or the intention to invest it.

...We call these figures FFP 'wiggle room' because it is the amount clubs could spend overall before they hit the FFP limit,' explained Maguire. 'The limit is not a target, it is an allowable loss, and has to be funded by owners.'

....Caveat being; the 2020 accounts showed we have a cash balance on the books.
