Manager Antonio Conte

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

So you don't see a link between him firing up the crowd and the team responding by more effort and concentration? I agree Klopp is cringe - but Conte doesn't go to that cult like level.

That did not happen at all though.

I dont think it is the worst thing in the world, although I agree with Skooch it is a little cringeworthy and awful when Klopp does similar shit.

I see zero evidence it has anything to do with our performance on Sunday and certainly not close to the effect many on Twitter are trying to make it out to be.

Mate, I spotted him waving his hands at the crowd and they responded.
I was there in the ground. It happened. It's not subjective or debatable. We needed a lift in the last few minutes and he got the crowd to do their bit.

It didn't last very long though as we defaulted back to nervous waiting for the innevitbale capitulation.

LOL

Yes I am sure they saw him waving his hands and had a big response. Too bad that response was only noticeable to special little you.

Conte is a legend personality wise. Its exciting. But im not going to get carried away. I know its only his second game in charge but against leeds was a struggle, a team in 17th. A few years ago we would have bossed that with ease. Its not that leeds played well. We just looked so bad.

quality manager but i just think hes got his work cut out with this squad

If you think the view from TV is as reliable as actually being there; then you're clueless(*).......

(*Then again, this is not news....)

The view from TV is reliable in terms of what went on in the game.

There was no response from the team at any point in the game. If there had been and Matt said that response was based on Conte's actions then I would believe him, but since there was no point in the game the Spurs showed anything then the is nothing that Conte could have inspired.

You can go and find videos on youtube of him jeeing the crowd up ffs. It was just louder in person and went on longer than the recording did.

You are talking about the crowd?

The post I quoted said the team responded, I saw zero response from the team.

If you are talking about the crowd sure, I am sure they did respond to Conte waving him arms, but it had no response from the team like the post I was quoting said.
