It’s been known for years that Tanguy has an attitude problem . It was picked up on when he was a youth player .

Like Conte says we have to struggle to improve. He can't work miracles with what we currently have, and as much as I support the boys and want them to do well, you only have to look at Chelsea's substitutes bench and compare that to our memorial bench to see we don't presently have what it takes.

I still have hope tho, they should have crushed us and we were unlucky with the own goal. I'm taking the boy to the return leg to sing a few songs and watch our boy Moura do his semi final cup magic.

This. As crap as we were and I totally agree we are so far behind Chelsea it’s laughable, but in front a packed white hart lane, huge atmosphere and possible early goal, this game is far from over. I’ll be going to the game and I don’t know why, but I have a funny feeling about it. I feel another Ajax special night is on the horizon.

Maybe its for the best if we aren't going to match his ambition. At least if you have a Nuno or a Ryan Mason as manager there is no hope and no expectation. Can just tune Spurs out as background noise.

Still fuming about being Ole'd by their fans last night and how comfortable it was for them.
 
It was very depressing to see Conte so down in his interview last night. He is a big time manager saddled with a bunch of players who talk a good game but rarely turn up. As a Spurs man, I’m embarrassed.

Indeed and that (alongside assessing the potential to adapt to the league we play in) is ALL part of scouting.... Not just "oooohhh; doesn't he look fancy on the ball" or "He's good on Fifa".

Now he may succeed or fail, but we have little choice but to accept Paraticci as a 'new dawn'.... Lessons ought to be learned, but conflating it all as one big mess will get us nowhere moving forward.

The difference is that rather than admit it’s not worked with such players (& it’s not just those 3 who have been flops) Levy doesn’t seem willing to cut his losses. When we plead poverty, you only need look at the money wasted on the transfer and the ongoing wages of these thieves.
Get rid. Have a smaller budget, with wages freed up, but at least get the right shaped pegs for the holes.
 
Btw don’t vote Conte manager of the month. We don’t want him to get the curse. Remember Nuno won it for August and it only went downhill from there. But vote Sonny for player of the month and Lucas goal of the month

He isn’t that good on fifa tbh
Paraticci selling point just needs to be “ Conte want you “ . We have the ££ to attract a high level of player & anything is only as difficult as you want to make it . This is one of the reasons why Levy fails he over complicates every deal to the point that chairmen lose patience with his Shithousery

But yup our history of scouting has been abysmal
