Modric agrees Madrid extension

Luka Modric is set to sign a one-year contract extension that will keep him at Real Madrid until the summer of 2023, according to AS.
The 36-year-old Croatia international is currently on a rolling 12-month contract which has yet to be extended, raising the possibility of an exit from the Bernabeu this summer.
But Modric is understood to have agreed fresh terms with the 13-time European champions that will keep him in the Spanish capital for at least another season.

Embarassing lack of ambition yet again - while theiving from fans occurs in broad daylight

It's ok - Wanks made 2 successful forward passes and he's the next Pirlo

So now you're annoyed that a player wants to stay at the club he's at and that's Levy's fault?

Are you genuinely a parody account? or just a really strange creature?

Adama will be absolutely shit in that role behind Kane that Son/Bergwijn plays.

He could be good if signed to be converted into a RWB to replace Emerson, but it’s still a big could because his crossing is pretty woeful from what I can see.

Why we don’t stop acting the cunt and actually just, you know, sign an ACTUAL right wing back and an ACTUAL attacking midfielder/wide forward rather than this pathetic cheap square pegs into round holes approach is is a mystery that unfortunately seems perpetually unsolvable.
I actually don't mind an Adama/Emerson combo for RWB role.

They're both athletic in different ways; Adama should be first choice as his acceleration means we will be threatening even on the back foot, and he can create space for others.
And Emerson is solid, one of the most tackles/minutes in the PL so far this season. Reliable back up, which Aurier/Doherty never were.

But they both lack true technical ability, unlike Trent or Reece James. Altho tbh so does Lamptey, who would be the Adama alternative (he's so fast but not that many goals/assists). So we need to make up for that by buying an incisive skilful midfielder to replace Ndombele/ Dele.

That's not good enough- we will be toast against Woolwich with our current squad.

We not only need signings, we need one this week.
Except no club will release players during a Covid crisis when even fielding a full team is a problem - just wishing it to happen won't get rid of that reality, clubs will hold onto any outgoing players for as long as they can, and you can't really blame them.

Which should be nearly equal in importance to the footballing skills.
It’s actually say more important. Both physically and in terms of skill there’s very little between any player in a top league, bar the few world class exceptions age the few who seem to have won a prize like Doherty. What goes on between the ears is most important at this point, The dedication, The determination, the bravery and not just in tens of running and tackling etc but also in terms of reading a game, seeing a pass, being composed enough to execute something that you’d do in a park with your eyes shot in front of tens of thousands of fans.

Shit link but I just hope it's true

I think we’re at a point where we’d probably rather sell the likes of Ndombele and Dele but their salaries mean there won’t be takers, but Lo Celso and Bergwijn and even Rodon or Tanganga will have takers.
