This is not a dig at Arcspace or you or anyone else, but I do wonder sometimes if the 'ignore' functionality actually exists. There's not a day go by without someone replying to someone they've recently claimed to have just put on ignore. Does anyone really actually ever press the button? Do we even know if it works? Or did Admin just put it there as a joke knowing that people would only threaten to use it, but never actually go through with it because despite all the arguing, none of us can actually bare to not know what 'the enemy' is currently saying (possibly about us)?LOL I bet you didn't and you'll still tag him in every second post of yours

I think last night selection was Conte sending a message to the board. No and then Yes.
Tanganga is a kid who needs a leader beside him and I think he's being thrown under the bus at the moment. I don't think Conte would have picked him last night if he didn't believe.
Oh shit - he also picked Doherty...Tanganga is a kid who needs a leader beside him and I think he's being thrown under the bus at the moment. I don't think Conte would have picked him last night if he didn't believe.
Not sure why you dived in here to be honest, been known to do similar mind you
Broadly agree but let's not get into the "we need a team full of experienced professionals" or the 50M quid for Ben White camp.I think last night selection was Conte sending a message to the board.
I like Tanganga, but he needs a loan or some one on one training. In the last 3 games he'd been at fault for goals. He's young, and I respect he needs someone next to him to speak with him (like Dier had with Toby and Jan) but he still needs to cut out the mistakes.
Overall I don't think he's the level required for Spurs. We need a new centre back on top of Romero being made permanent as well as a new RWB this summer.
Read this and thought you were talking to me. I'm 6' 3" you tiny hairy legged fuck.
EPL squad is 21 with 4 "spare" non-HG slots which in theory we could fill because we are not in Europe.Think this is our current squad. Looks like we could potentially add 3 players and not be in the shitter, but since we are no longer in Europe; it doesn't make sense to have such a huge squad.

How much longer are you gonna keep posting your "How much longer posts"?How much longer are some of you guys on here gonna defend these parasites getting fat off our great football club while the team continues to stagnate?

More winning too probablyCan I set up a property thread ?
There will be more activity in it
taking emotion from individual games out of the equation that's not far from my own stance. My main fear now is Conte walking, I was resigned to the fact this season was going to be difficult as soon as Nuno arrived. We've lucked out with our manager but my fears on our scouting and the 'Don' still remain...I think it is plain to see that the squad needs an overhaul. I also think it is at least naive and at worst completely delusional to think this window will provide us with an opportunity to do it. Those of you who think, in the 13 days previous, we could have signed and bedded in players who would’ve made any difference to the Chelsea result/s are a bit thick.
I look back at the quote from Poch in 2015 when he said something to the affect of “we are ahead of our expected progress” and really see it as a watermark moment that has since skewed a broad perception of trajectory, achievement and acceptable performance across the whole spectrum of those involved with the club. From those that run it, to those that support it. Realistically, the needles on the gauge of the ownership are moving back more conservatively and that of the (wider) supporter base are pushing more ambitiously… which is as understandable as it is infuriating.
I will say that I have largely been of the opinion that ENICs ownership has been more beneficial than not. I have lamented many decisions and fumed over the lack of others… but If you objectively view the “growth” of the club over the period… I still feel that way and there is little you can say to sway my opinion. Many a fan of other clubs would say the same, which I am equally happy to “poo-poo” but the fact remains that, with all of their faults, we have progressed. The grass is always greener… and we could have easily ended up with a piss stained paddock of dry chaff, trying to stay mid-table.
That said, I must that my patience is wearing thin. Bargain signings, inexcusable holes in the squad, merry-go-round managerial appointments and a lack of awareness have us very quickly on the precipice of riot. In the appointment of Conte, Levy has afforded himself a very brief moment of something resembling grace to correct our trajectory and rejoin the path Poch set us on…. But it needs to be done.
2-3 signings would be great (honestly think it will be 1-2, and also don’t rate Adama at all) but think the blade should fall at the end of the Summer window, and then only.
