Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I think last night selection was Conte sending a message to the board.

I like Tanganga, but he needs a loan or some one on one training. In the last 3 games he'd been at fault for goals. He's young, and I respect he needs someone next to him to speak with him (like Dier had with Toby and Jan) but he still needs to cut out the mistakes.

Overall I don't think he's the level required for Spurs. We need a new centre back on top of Romero being made permanent as well as a new RWB this summer.

Let's assume we do buy another starting CB in the summer..... Rodon is already further down the pecking order than Japh.

With squad (rather than 1st XI) in mind I think it's fairly safe to predict that development (loan/coaching) will take priority over selling him..... Esp. given his age and HG status.

How does a side like Villa sign Coutinho and Digne and we've done absolutely nothing of any note yet despite being desperate for players in just about every area of the pitch? It's an absolute farce. The fact that some are desperate for 100m sprinter Adama Traore only shows what an absolute shambles we are.

A bunch of peeps have been banging on about Traore for ages now....... Some even before Nuno and the whole Wolves connection.

People might laugh but I completely agree. It's pretty clear to see that he's not happy. And why would he be when we have a smarmy little wanker like Levy at the top?
I'd say 15M a year helps........

but agreed, he does look frustrated.

it'd be nice to see a few solid links to a CM and Forward.

I'm not gonna lose my mind about Villa and Newcastle signing players we're not interested in.

it's about us, we certainly do need 3 in this month. I accept it's tough in Jan, Top targets like Pau Torres etc can't happen till the summer. but if we need to push the boat out by an extra 5M say to get Kessie or whoever, we need to do it now.

Levy surely gets though? he's not stupid. it's in his benefit for us to do well and make the CL.

if we get top 4 the extra cash spent now is paid for.

Ok, fuck it - finally put the ENIC condom on ignore - cannot stand it anymore

Wow that was quick..... Nice one.

Now let's then assume your info amounts to a little column on a website that has CF written in it....... How many of those players amount to little more than Scarlet?

Remember your OG post said "somewhat experienced"?

I think the general point from our little chat is that no, it's not "just Spurs".
They all amount to more than Scarlett. Keep in consideration that all the strikers should be compared to the standing of their own club, not to ours. So lets go, for Ligue 1 as example:

PSG: Mbappe, Icardi (both of very high experience)
Nice: Gouiri, Dolberg, Delort, Guessand (Guessand is youth, but still with more game time than Scarlett)
Marseille: Milik, Dieng (we know the first one, dont we? - Dieng 21 yo has 4 in 14 games)
Rennes: Laborde, Guirassy, Tchaouna, Abline, Güclü (Guirassy is back up, 15m transfer - last three are youth)
Montpellier: Germain, Gioacchini, Makouana, Guermouche (Germain is well known, Gioacchini 21 yo US national player and 600 min league experience this season - last two are youth)
Lens: Kalimuendo, Ganago, Sotoca, Jean, Balde (last one youth, others a good mix of experience)
Monaco: Ben Yedder, Volland, Boadu, Isidor (three decent players, last one youth)
Strassburg: Ajorque, Diallo, Gameiro, Mothiba, Waris (some known names, we wanted to get this Diallo I believe last summer)
Nantes: Kolo Muani, Coulibaly, Augustin (also well known, Augustin fell off hard after the Leeds transfer)
Lille: David, Weah, Yilmaz, Bica (last one is youth, others high profile)
Lyon: Dembele, Slimani + converted Toko Ekambi (both are well known, Slimani was at Leicester)
Angers: Ali-Cho, Bahoken (Ali-Cho is just 17, but a regular, came from Evertons youth, Bahoken has more experience)
Brest: Mounie, Cardona, Le Douaron, Badji, Said (more than enough players)
Reims: Toure, Ekitike, Hornby, Koffi, Donis (more than enough players, low quality however, but they are also 14th placed)
Clermont: Bayo, Hamel, Tell (Tell is unexperienced)
Troyes: Touzghar, Suk, Chadli (Touzghar is a starter, Suk played in Portugal and Netherlands)
Bordeaux: Hwang, Niang, Maja, Mara, Briand (good depth)
Lorient: Moffi, Grbic, Soumano (Grbic was loaned out as Soumano is young and promising)
Metz: Niane, de Preville, Joseph (Joseph is youth)
St Etienne: Khazri, Ramirez, Krasso, Hamouma (a few known names)

Its similar in the other 4 leagues.
All players from this list have more experience than Scarlett.
Its not just us, how refreshing, so we also have West Ham.

But lets have a look at the 19/20 season. The back-up was Troy Parrott.
And the same goes for the 15/16 season. Seemingly, NJie was the back-up. We just had potent goalscorers in Dele and Eriksen.

Its the third season in seven seasons that we dont have another centre forward if Kane gets injured.
