Yes but the press didnt ask klopp was he leaving after his 1st 2 months when his results werent exactly great and the fans werent happy with what the board were doing either

The situations aren't anyway similar. Liverpool owners didn't have the history of not backing mangers that Levy does, the Liverpool owners hadn't shown zero interest in backing Klopp like Levy has with Klopp.

There was reason to look at Liverpool and see that they were headed in the right direction and that things would improve, the exact opposite is the same with us.

I don't get the need for some fans to always cry about poor Tottenham and make up crap about us being treated unfairly.

Theyre managers before hand were a shambles. Im not talking about fans enic anything only journalists stirring shit up. Same when poch was here. Questioned about going to utd constantly, constantly asked about his future

Journalists aren't stirring anything up they are asking relevant questions. Same with Poch.

Brenton got asked similar questions last year while at Leicester, Potter has been asked while at Brighton. It is pretty common for smaller teams with successful managers, especially when they are seen to play an attacking style.

The Klopp comparisons make no sense, there was zero reason to ask him about his future because he wasn't going anywhere. There was no reason for him to want to leave so why would journalists waste their time asking?

Poch wasnt going anywhere at the time we were clearly progressing at the time so why were the questioned asked

There is always the chance a manager from a lower club will leave to go to a bigger club.

Potter wasn't leaving Brighton and the questions were asked, Brenton was leaving Leicester and the questions were asked. Again this isn't a Spurs thing it is what happens with managers like Poch when they are at smaller clubs.

The media ask these questions because our fans click and share them and our fans buy into the bs, our fanbase are incredibly negative and have a weak mentality an expect things to fuck up so they are merely click baiting for profit.

Our fans are clicking on stories about Brenton and Potter?

Amongst many others?

Poch has been on the hot seat since day 1 in PSG with questions about him all the time. Koeman and Barcelona had nothing but questions before he was even hired.

The power of Spurs fans is pretty amazing.

Please stop shitting on Spurs fans mate.
You're making a habit of spamming every thread with it.

We probably have the most patient fans in the country.

Its all they have.

With it being impossible to defend Levy at this point all the apologists have left is to try and deflect by shitting on the fans making the problems all their fault.

If anything our fanbase is reactionary because we're so used to being fucked over by ENIC at this point that people are just pessimistic by nature. Then when we do get a crumb of hope (Conte) it gets immediately pummelled in to the dirt.

Says the individual who's been stomping round the forum insulting fans all evening; like a toddler having a tantrum.

EPIC lack of self-awareness.

This post is disliked 5 times, but in a sense you are right. Fans puts too much pressure and it's very ugly.

People aren't ready for this conversation. These media companies work on metrics and trends and will publish articles based on clicks and shares, that's how they make their money

Look amongst the Spurs fans base on social media, we are self depreciating and constantly negative towards our club, there's an argument to say that ENIC are the root cause of this which is fair but there are other factors such as manifesting the Spursy mentality and just waiting for things to fuck up because that's what we do, obviously the feelings are heightened now because the fans are at breaking point.

So all these negative stories that are being circulated by the media are a result of the constant negativity that we are happy to endorse because of the current collective mentality.

Yeah. Outside journalists will always ask those questions for Conte about transfer budget, contract, etc..

For example Spurs fan and journalist Alasdair Gold will not ask these questions. They are just clickbait, but fans are fearful. Breaking point – it's a good description. We are so low right now, no confidence or whatsoever. No confidence in owners. It's break or make for ENIC and Daniel Levy.

All or nothing. Funny, because Amazon documentary series was called like that.

Poor mentality from fans, but we need some wins for it to change. Of course, investing in the squad would help. Cc: ENIC.

So many false dawns, let downs, enic, etc has led to this mentality amongst us fans. Can you blame us?
