Transfers January 2022 - Transfer Window

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Yet, we're massively outplaying Woolwich every match under Conte, have several players growing into roles that were written off, and in Lucas and Bergwijn, have better 3rd/4th attacking players than Woolwich. If you think we're so awful, perhaps you shouldn't have tried joining recently? We're a better 11, and we're better coached. And by Spurs standards, this is actually a much stronger squad than most have been in the last 25 years...

We're not 'massively outplaying' Woolwich. Conte is a brilliant manager, far better than Arteta, who is getting a better tune out of lesser players, and the fact Kane is better than any player in either squad and has recently had an upturn. Son is also better than any Woolwich player.

Also, telling people not to join unless they share your exact opinion on the strength of our squad is laughable. Don't be such a moronic tribalist, you can support Spurs and not think the sun shines out of our squads arsehole. You seem ridiculously optimistic about this squad, to the point of pure delusion, so maybe you should consider whether your inherent bias is coming in to play.

The overreactions and the tears in here are a bit forced, something tells me it would have been the same had we got more players in, when you rationalise it this window is hardly meltdown worthy, it's the Winter transfer window, what were you actually expecting?
We came into the window as the favorite for 4th along with united and ahead of Woolwich and west ham. We got rid of dead weight and made 2 additions that could be good squad options. There is no way we are worse than we were before. The other 3 teams either did nothing or had a star arrested for rape.

Somehow that translates to the melters are saying top 4 is gone and we will get top 6 if we are lucky or back to the conference league. People just need to bitch about their shitty lives.

Anyone else feel like referring to him as ‘The Swede’ is almost as random as saying ‘The Massive Ginger has arrived’.

He has a name fellas.

The parents of Дејан Кулушевски are from Makedonia - so he's not a Viking Sweden, though. He's got that technical touch of the Balkans - a bit like Zlatan who's also got parents from the Balkans (no, I am not comparing him with Zlatan...)

Woolwich and Untied got weaker.

Aubameyang out.
Greenwood, Martial, Van de Beek out.

Bit like ours most of those weren’t doing much for the club but unlike us they bought fuck all thankfully.

Greenwood is the exception in term of use, he has amazing talent and should have been United’s next elite player, one of the best strikers in the league potentially. Greenwood being a huge dickhead aside that is a huge blow to United in terms of their squad. Ronaldo and Cavani are brilliant but old and not suited to high energy game and Rashford is average.

Got 2 bench warmers from an inferior league is hardly anything to write home about...

Just love the positive spin getting used to dress up another squad weakening transfer window
:contelol:
Fair play
We haven’t weakened bud.

We’ve cleared out players we weren’t using, in positions Conte doesn’t employ. To bring in two players he will use in positions his system does employ.

In the process been ruthless with wasters like GLC, Ndombele and Dele; clearing 450k p/w wages. Setting us up for a summer overhaul under Conte.

I have to say loaning out two of our most expensive signings ever because of their awfulness is a massive condemnation of Hitchen. And the cunt is still in a job.
Given that Pochettino was the guy who demanded them, and Levy made the call to spend the money, I would like to know why Hitchens, who definitely ran the recruiting process that pointed to them being pair of extremely talented young midfielders (which was the consensus by most of Europe's clubs), is the guy to blame?

There is an alternate universe where Pochettino was more flexible on transfers, or more creative in training, so didn't get burnout and stayed, and then those two thrived. But in this world, after 3 years of managerial churn, they didn't work out. But it wasn't Hitchens who brought them to Spurs, so why is it his fault?

"Oh yeah? Well you're not even that pretty!"

Levy is just the sexist fat kid who never got any girlfriends because he screamed at them, and was confused why.

It makes sense he'd commit himself to becoming a billionaire, so he could say he's great after all.

The top 10 teams in the Premier league brought in 4 total players that will be joining the first team now. We bought in 50% of the total first team players in the top half of the Premier League.

Luis Diaz (Liverpool)
Dejan Kulusevski (Spurs)
Rodrigo Bentancur (Spurs)
Chiquinho (Wolves)

If you’re too jaded to ever see anything decent in what Spurs are doing, I’m not going to try to convince you. But at least take some small pleasure in that no one around has done anything, unless you really rate Chiquinho.
