I swear we could've signed Neuer, Marquinhos, Bonucci, Hakimi, Kimmich, Barella, Mbappe, Lautaro and Lewandowski...and some on here would still call it an underwhelming window and say it's Levy's fault for being too tight.
You know who I'm talking about!
Here are some home truths:
- January has always been a tough window to do business in
- We don't have City or Liverpool's money, nor do we have their aura
- Diaz preferred Liverpool and Traore preferred Barca
- We got rid of some expensive deadwood that was bringing nothing positive to the table
- Kulusevski is a good, experienced young player who deserves a chance to show what he can do
- Same goes for Bentancur. Played for Boca then for Juve for several seasons, has CL pedigree and plays for a very good national side
- Woolwich, Utd and West Ham did fuck all business. If one thing, they weakened
- Conte is a fucking great manager, he's forgotten more stuff about managing that we will ever know in a zillion years
- Our squad ain't perfect but we still have plenty quality players and some who'll always give 100%: Hugo, Dier, Big Ben, Hoj, Sonny, Lucas, Kane...
- A fan supports his team for better or worse
That's more than enough reasons to feel optimistic about our Top 4 + FA Cup push, come on! It's a time to support the lads, to bring them some positive vibes, and constant negativity is actually playing against the club.
COYS. Peace out x
Edit: I've had a nice Belgian beer and some plants since I first posted it, so I've calmed down and toned it down a notch as a result. You're welcome
