Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Keep seeing such a post but as little as one of those players is a nailed on starter.... Davies.

Better players is never not going to be welcome but let's tell it straight.

Skipp, Bentancur & Dier demote 3 of those listed and depending on how you line up Emerson needn't be a starter either..... Which leaves Lucas; who's largely had a decent season.
All of the players I named have regularly been in the starting xi this season...which is what I said in my post, not "nailed on starter." Sanchez and winks are the only guarantees to drop out when everyone is fit. Maybe the new midfielder replaces Hojbjerg but with paraticis record on signings so far, I will reserve judgement there as well.

Too many average players starting too many games has given us the past couple of seasons. Conte has given them a lift, but they are what they are. Major work to be done in the transfer market or it will be more of the same I think.

This guy is not sticking around for too long, not with this board and shit team. . Then where does parasite levy go ????

To a coach who can get the best out of players without demanding we spend like City?

We've just been beat at home - and run of the park for 45 minutes - by a coach who has a championship squad. A few days before that we played another team whose coach is doing a great job, dominates most of the teams his teams plays, also with a pretty wank squad. Neither of these coaches are in the press every week whining about not having 200m to spend every window.

Forgive me if I don't piss myself if the bloke we are paying 17m a year, and providing with more transfer funds and player salary budget can't do a better job than Potter and Hassenhuttl.

Best XI, first XI... Starting XI.... Call it what you want but Dav, Winks and such aren't in it.

Of course improvements are required..... They always will be, but there's no fairness in using back-up players to denigrate the level of our best XI.

TBF Spurs under Nuno (IMO) didn't have a performance as disappointing as Wednesday's PL vs So'ton.

0-3 @ Palace was a terrible result but it was 0-0 when Tanganga was sent off around 60' and Palace's first goal around 75' was a penalty.

Collectively, the feeling around the club is much more positive with Conte.
If this was a more disappointing performance than the stinker's we had with nuno, it's only because expectations were higher vs southampton.

Against, southampton, we were complete shit in the back and midfield but we scored 2 decent goals and created several high quality chances (Reggie miss and Kane's header come to mind... plus the bergwijn close offsides goal).

Under Nuno, we went games at a time without even one quality chance. To call this the worst performance of the season is recency bias.

Just to add to this, I think Conte is a very good coach, and I think he’s improved some facets of us quicker than I’ve seen most managers do mid-season, which is why I posted the metric comparison showing this - it’s pretty impressive- but I also don’t believe the world will end if he fucks off, and believe for the money we are paying him he should be able to coach and improve players individually and collectively.

I hope he becomes a right nasty bastard, now.

Like, proper ruthless monster.

And get rid of ANYONE who fails to give everything to reach his standards.

I've absolutely had enough of shit like this.

Squad needs to be purified with 'fire'.

Conte is the ideal man to do it.
Why hasn’t he done it already. His sort of done it with some players but not with the ones who really have no talent. Why is it easier to banish the skillful players but not the technically inept?
