Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I've managed to make a bit of change trading Bitcoin, doesn't mean I'm Jordan fucking Belfort.

Please stop embarassing yourself with this nonsense, these two couldn't be more anti-Spurs if they tried, they are known WUM's and have a history of winding up Spurs and Spurs fans, what's more they talk on a platform designed to bait click and get people to phone in purely for revenue (although Simon Jordan is the only one worth listening to)

I cannot think of a worse possible example then these two muppets trying to talk about our club on that platform, you've literally fallen for the bait.

I cannot actually believe I'm having this conversation with a Spurs fan.

They not Winding me up. They wind you up. I'm sorry you feel embarrassed on my behalf. But am really happy that you Love me enough to care. Frankly, I don't care what you or any others feel about me. Especially when people make a sensible statement and you completely dismiss it because he was a 'Gooner'. Grow up are you still 10 years old.

Unfortunately for you, you're gonna get scrutinised if you post up some bollocks like this and couble down on it and back yourself into a corner.

I don't even have a problem that they are Gooners as such, rarely Gooners speak sense about Spurs regardless but if you posted something that Ian Wright said I'd take it with a lot more credence because in the past he has been entireley fair about our club whether it's positive or negative Or Keown for that matter even though he is as dull as dishwater because his stance has often been neutral when it comes to Spurs.

No self respected Spurs fans would ever be happy to accept anything from a couple of dickheads who have publicly disrespected our club many times and have come out and said they don't like us, that goes way beyong bias. They look at our club with utter contempt therefore whatever their initial standpoin about Tottenham needs to be easily dismissed whether you perceive them to be talking sense or not hence why you're seeing such a negative reaction and hence why you're being ridiculed.

If you're feeling negative about the club there's far more other ways of dealing with that other than aggreeing with these two gremlins and easily falling for the bait of TalkSport in their M.O is to bait people into beliving low level punditry BS like this which is designed purely to bait you into a click, do better.

Ok. Stop being naive. Listen to the Podcast. (I don't think you did). Then please tell me (word for word) without your Gooners bullshit, which part you feel he was lying about, or using to try and get Spurs fans pissed off.

If not, rather don't comment because you are commenting on something you know nothing of. Stop blowing hot air because you fell you don't like the commentator, comment on the commentary.

Seen a bunch of names being thrown around for a LCB, however no mentions of Laporte whatsoever... A cheeky bid for him maybe? According to City fans, him and Dias can't play together, so if someone was to be sold, it most likely would be Laporte.

You guys really have to start looking a bit further than 'Gooners'. It's the reason some believe ending up on top of them on the log gives us bragging rights as if we win the League.

What they say makes sense. If you are a team that really wants a player, get in there, get things done and stop playing games. It make complete sense. It's as if, because they are 'Gooners', they are speaking crap. Wake up.

It's 2022. Gooners are in the same boat as us. We should be looking at chasing, Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool. They are Worldclass FCs. Instead we pride ourselves because we not Gooners. Yet even they can walk up to their trophy cabinet and smile at their trophies. Last time I visit White Hart Lane, our cabinet was quite Bare. I don't remember any trophies since.

Ask yourself why they haven't said the same about Arse and Vlahovic.

After yesterday, I think we can be that little more positive about a squad for next season.

If we take the starting X1 from yesterday, we could probably improve on some players but I think they are at least capable of being squad players.

Lloris (c), Romero, Dier, Davies, Royal, Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Sessegnon, Kulusevski, Kane, Son

Add in our missing players from yesterday - Skipp and Reguilon plus probably Bergwijn, Moura, Tanganga and even Winks who are good enough for the squad (6 players) : given his lack of game time I'm not sure Rodon is considered good enough, and Sanchez frequent mistakes probably puts him in the 'should upgrade' category, and I'm not convinced by Gollini either. And we have a 3rd GK in Whiteman or Austin both decent if inexperienced and HG which is helpful.

And then add in returning loanees Sarr and Gil and we are up to 19 players as the basis for a squad.

Simplistic I know, but its easier to think of bringing in a few players plus upgrading on a couple of those named 20 players to get to a realistic decent squad next season capable of competing.

Doesn't mean that we shouldn't be looking at a RWB, maybe 2 x CB's, a CM, striker and a back up GK (so 6 players) to improve the squad and move on 2/3/4 of those 20 players.

Your not getting it, probably because people were a bit rude. But the two people you have posted as a source for opinions on our club.. Well they are disingenuous in the extreme. If you honestly do not know this and think they are genuine. That's very naive.

I want a window of

In
Lamptey
De Vrij/Botman
Kessie
Belotti/Sesko

Out
Ndombele
Lo Celso
Sanchez
Doherty
White (loan)
Devine (loan)
Scarlett (loan)
I really don't agree with your incoming wishes. Also, as someone else has mentioned, we also need to consider getting HG players to get a full 25-man squad.

My comments on your wishes:

De Vrij is 30. We need a younger CB that can impact the squad in the future as well. Botman is inexperienced at the higher level. I'm not keen on that. We need quality and impact right away. Also, I understand he's a bit slow and not very agile.

Milan Skriniar would be a great transfer - if it's possible. If we're going for even younger, Ibañez, Jurrien Timber or Araújo would be interesting. The only problem with all of these is that they're right-footed - we probably need af left-footed one instead. I'm not sure about the possibilities there.

Kessie: We don't need another ball-winning midfielder (we have Skipp, PEH and somewhat Bentancur). We need a creative player. I would prefer someone that's also good at making runs of the ball. I would have loved to see Van De Beek in a Spurs shirt. Youri Tielemans would also be very interesting. Jude Bellingham is another (impossible) dream.
Ruben Neves could be interesting as well, but he is more a deep-lying playmaker. Not the guy who makes box-to-box runs.
But of course what we need is all up to how Conte wants to play (I'm not sure he wants a box-to-box midfielder and then Neves would be perfect).

Belotti could be interesting, as well as Sesko. However, the latter would probably not be satisfied with a bench spot. Would not be good for his development either.

Lamptey could be interesting. He's also homegrown! Max Aarons might also be a possibility.

You're telling me to stop being naive after you ran to the defence of these trolls, good one :roflmao:

Firstly Darren Bent's instance on Spurs going for players in Jan to get into the top 4, well yes it's all well and good saying it but who? WHO would be a cast iron garantee that we'd definately finish in the top 4 if we spent loads of dosh this January? It's very easy to say that until you actually add some thought process behind it and realise that getting players who can make a difference mid season is incredibly rare.

And he should know that...where is all this energy for his actual team that he supports, he'd realise that they struggled to bring in a striker this January and have left themselves short...and our other top 4 rivals tried and failed to get players in as well.

The only thing I kinda agree on is about Adama Traore (about the dilly dallying) but again, what makes you think he would have been the difference in us getting top 4 or not? A player playing out of his natural position and with his questionable end product...Nah sorry it's BS.

Secondly their insistance on Conte not being Spurs manager, they said it depends on if they finish in the top 4 er what o_O...so what is he gonna walk away half way through his contract purely because the team he's taken over and that he's made constant references to us suffering to win matches and the level of Spurs not being very good and that there is a massive gap we have to close to get to the top teams, he was well aware the size of the task before he took the job and knows how much work it's gonna take so why is he gonna suddenly walk if we finish outside the top 4, it doens't make any sense.

Funny thing is that all of Conte's soundbites he has constantly said that he's happy at the club and happy to be working with these players and he enjoys the challenge but you have all these doom merchants in the media and some miserable fans amongst our fanbase who constantly look for angles to try and paint a pitcure of him being unhappy purely because they are projecting their inner thoughts about the club, it's exhausting.

Would take Sam Johnstone as number 2. Think he has the POTENTIAL to be Lloris’s successor….unsure yet but on a free as a HG back up he’s a low risk gamble

raphinha or sarr we should be looking at def for the rw

deki is better in the long term as a 10, second best passer in the side after kane

pau torres or bastoni is a no brainer bothe left footed defenders

might be a punt but would go for livramento over lamptey for now only because of injuries

He'll be 29 in March...... Not sure that's exactly the shelf you shop from when gunning for "potential".

Would be happy for him to come in as #2 though......

If we are going with 5-3-2

----------------Lloris---------------
---Romero---Dier----_____------
____---------------------------Reggie

if its 3-4-3

----------------Lloris---------------
----Romero---Dier----_______---
_____--------------------------Reggie
-----------Skipp---Bentancur-----
----_____----------------------Son--
-----------------Kane--------------

Lot of things I'm not sold on. Not sure which one of Dier or Davies meed replacing as starters. Ideally both as starters but I would rather us get 1 really good CB instead of 2 decent ones....so I've gone with us bringing in a LCB over a Dier type CB.

RWB we would need one for sure regardless of formation.

Not 100% sold on Skipp and Bentancur being the starting CMs in a midfield 2 as well. Happy for them forming 2 of the 3 providing the 3rd is more Box to box type (as well as being creative).

Think an another attacking mid AMR is vital if we are going with 3-4-3 and I wouldn't kind that to be Sarr at Watford should they go down.

obviously need a back up striker regardless of formation as well.

Lo Celso, N'dombele, Sanchez or Rodon, Doherty, Winks and Tanganga to help fund:

* 1back up GK
* 1 starting CB
* 1 starting RWB
* 1 starting CM or AMR
* 1 back up ST

Sarr is a great shout…. Had a quiet season so prove won’t be ridiculous and assuming they drop, he won’t stay this time (did a season in the champ once). Could be a great option at RWB
