Quite honestly I could deal without the amateur dramatics and the wearing of the emotion for all to see all of the time.

We will see what kind of reaction Conte gets from the players but he needs to give them the right messages and pick the right team.

Then it's up to them and his changes as he sees fit during the game.

Much as I completely get that we need players and I have said this before, we have enough to have beaten the teams we are losing to. No real excuses for me there.

I'm wondering if that's what the players want deep down. It isn't as if they don't have form in that aspect and by all reports he is a hard taskmaster with training.

But what’s he done for us exactly? Why is he the one good thing we have?

Other managers have taken us further with these same players so why is he given this leeway?
 
Central midfield is the most important position on the pitch. For some reason, spurs think you can just throw 2 sideways passing nothing players in there and as long as they don’t fuck up, they did their job.

Obviously, Skipp was making a huge difference. Nothing will change until we get good midfielders.

United have the same problem controlling games consistently with Fred and Mctominay. It doesn’t matter if you have talented forward players if the midfielders can’t get them the ball in favorable positions.

I blame Dembele for carrying midfield by himself for years and making it seem like players like Winks are semi competent.
 
Has he done a better job than Mourinho so far?

Not for me. At least had Son and Kane firing.

The verdict isn't in, but it's not looking great.

It’s amazing isn’t it. For 4/5 seasons we’ve needed a new midfield yet the club seemingly haven’t been serious about addressing it properly or when we have we have signed badly scouted players. It’s been an utter mess. Sounds like bentancur might be out for a couple of weeks now too which is less than ideal.

What’s he bloody saying that Poch and other managers after him haven’t said? Mind you, the other managers had some respect for the club compared to this one who hasn’t done anything with what he’s got.

If buying shiny players is all there is to management then we’re doomed.
