Nail of the fucking head......................

I'll chuck this piece in here as well, as it relates...............

It's exhausting!! There are posters in here that NEVER post in any thread about the football, their posts are exclusively about spending money, the board, everything apart from the football. Odd no?

He literally said we are buying players that are young prospects that can be developed and not ready players and 'that is the issue'. But NOW he realises what the vision of the club is. If he wasnt lied to, he was definitely not told complete truths
So now you're saying that he may not have been lied to.

Not being told something is not the same as being lied to.

for me bentancur and skipp is potentially a top4 level midfield. the problem is their back ups which are relegation level

You are living in a dream world. A reserve Juventus player and an academy player cannot compete with Kante, De Bruyne, Pogba, Thiago etc. We need at least one midfield player who is elite level if we want to compete seriously for top 4.

The only times we challenged for 4th were when we had either Modric or Dembele in the first XI. We might be able to do without if we can find two world class wing backs but that’s even less likely.

I think they were actually saying he won't walk during the season ???????

Not sure if I have that right though

All sounds like guesswork to me, here's the bit from the article the aggregator is reporting.

So, is Conte’s departure imminent?

Well-placed sources close to the club were pretty much unanimous on Thursday that they can’t see Conte still being in charge at Tottenham next season.

But he is not expected to leave soon. Resigning would affect the size of the pay-off he would receive, and would be damaging to his reputation having taken the job so recently. It would suggest a lack of preparedness for what to expect at Spurs or an admission that he had overestimated his ability to turn things around.

Neither is a great look, though he may think he has enough credit in the bank that future employers would overlook the folly of the last few months.

Compatriot Carlo Ancelotti, for instance, was handed a second spell as Real Madrid coach last summer fresh from a pretty underwhelming year and a half managing Everton.

Were he to leave now, though, Conte would almost certainly have to wait until the summer for an attractive vacancy to open up. And remember, it was his itchy feet that compelled him to take the Spurs job in November having turned it down a few months earlier, during pre-season.

He also wants to prove he can be successful with a club who have neither a big transfer budget or heritage as one of their country’s most successful sides.

Yep, all speculation and guess work.

Conte himself has said that we're behind other teams and it'll take many transfer windows to catch up.

He's not expecting everything to be done this summer, but he's certainly expecting something to be done.

I think it would just help if he wasn't so honest. It would make the press conferences more boring but he should just give staged standard answers. The ones that used to piss us off when Nuno did them. I'd take a few bland ones now. As the video says posted above, its all too much about what goes on off the pitch rather than on it.

Troara and Diaz
There was no need for the juve rejects, Ndombele and Locelso were sufficient

Right; so even though they both have performed well so far we're gonna persist in calling them both "Juve Rejectss"?

I despair at some of our so-called supporters, I truly do...... The same toxic individuals that then have the nerve to bleat on about what they think they "deserve" and what they expect (demamd) from those very same players.

Those quotes show he was lied to or decieved with incomplete truths which is the same as lying anyway.
The fact is that you don't know what was or wasn't said. Nobody does.

If he didn't ask about our transfer policy before he signed, he's a fool.
If he signed anyway, then he can't complain.

He never said he was lied to, only that he realises now our transfer policy.

because they are too busy peddling their agendas against players, managers, chairmen etc

also because most of them have little or no football acumen to articulate.

To be honest I'm already getting sick and tired of Conte. He might well have valid reasons for being dissapointing with certain aspects of the club, but at the end of the day he should be showing better professionalism to the club that pays him his massive salary.

He can certainly help himself by not playing the same fucking wing-back formation game after game. Teams know exactly what we're going to do. And with that formation you're relient on having very good wing-backs, something which we clearly don't.

If he wants to keep whining and moaning, and feeling sorry for himself, fuck off already.
