Player Dejan Kulusevski

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He doesn't have to do it all the time but he also hasn't shown much when Kane and Son aren't there to carry him.

Doesn't mean he is bad as we have seen players- Moura and Bergwijn for example- who don't do much when Kane and Son are going but if he is going to be a top 4 level starter to compete with City, Chelsea, Pool I think he needs to show more.

Igula- we don't have any other players capable of playmaking besides those three- of course he's going to struggle without those two- who the fuck else do we have that do anything positive with the ball?

Who is this imaginary Kaneless, Sonless team that Deki is failling to produce on? It sounds like a relegation side incapable of scoring goals.

I'm starting to wonder if some people can even use their brain, just wow.
He was taken off, cause he just come to team, probably not 100% fit to play at high pace till the end or whatever the reason Conte may have in that regard.
But most importantly, because he is very slow, and not give much pace to our attack.
Conte obviously wanted more pace, and speed in the last minutes, which is the right and smart thing, as defenders legs should been gone by that point.

That could have worked, if our defense didn't mess up for million times already this season and we conceded straight after the subs was made.

Obviously that changed the whole trajectory of the match, cause they were going to sit back after the goal.

I agree we don't have any players outside of Kane or Son capable of playmaking.

What I am saying is that if we want to compete with top teams we need Kulu to step up to be able to do that or bring someone in.

He is the best option we have now and is fine if we are ok being 4th-6th but if you look at the top teams they have players that can step up when their top players are off.

Even a very good player that steps up when others are out only does it 1 out of every 2 or 3 games, and often only against middling or lower tier opposition. There's very few players ever that could carry the offensive burden for an entire team consistently. I'm not gonna blame Deki for not being one of them.

I think you'll eventually see that the larger problem is our overall lack of squad quality, and not necessarily Kane, Son or Dekis fault. I think you're right that he hasn't stepped up for us as a team-carrying leader just yet, but its early in his career and you'll have to give it some time.

I don't think it is any of their fault at all. It was just an observation for if we want to step up to be competing at the top of the league.

Wasn't as bad as others but wasn't very good.

Needs to find a way to impact the game without relying on Kane and Son if he wants to be anything more than ok.
So what you're saying is that he needs to be more of an instigator of the action/results and less dependent on others providing time and space for him? Interesting call but absolutely true IMO and what separates good from ok/competent, as you suggest. And the consistency of that is what separates great from just good.

Don't see it with him myself. Some people are still banging on about Alli having talent that can be tapped into. I've seen enough of this guy in a Juventus shirt to know he's not someone to get too excited about. That obviously doesn't mean that he can't come here and be a pleasant surprise.

We need pace and creativity in the team and I don't believe these two players will bring much of that. Kulusevski is a ball player but he will get even less time to get his head up in the Premier League. I expect him to be average and will be surprised if he's anything else.
you really know your shit!

I wasn't going to post any longer, but this is gold and I had to reply.

Sometimes people can be wrong about a player and also be glad for it. But the difference is when I'm wrong with something I own up to it. You hide like a coward. Where were your posts when Harry Kane scored twice against Everton? You don't post a thing when we win games and Kane is a big reason for that win.

You hide away like the fat ass thundercunt, shit stain of a 40 something year old lard arse in your Mom's basement that you really are.
I criticized Kane for his attitude. It’s not that I can not see that he has ability. When he seems to finally be on the right track, why would I criticize him? That’s a stupid thing to say. did not criticize him for the game yesterday either despite having a bad game.

The Kane thread is crowded by some people crazy about Kane. Their football iq is limited. Not because they like Kane. You can like Kane and still see his flaws but some of his fans wont admit he has any flaws.

My point is further proven by statements such as yours. I claim that anyone with a football iq of average or above could see that Kulu had the potential to be a very good signing. Unfortunately you were not one of them despite claiming to have seen enough of him to make a judgment. If you are that clueless about football I am not going to argue about Kane with you in that thread. Why should I lower myself to your level? Pick another sport, mate. Football is not for you.

He reminds me a bit of Chris Waddle. Bit awkward looking when he runs, not the greatest athlete but a great footballing brain and he has great composure on the ball.

I'd like to see him take more set-pieces he's got a decent left peg on him.
