The comments themselves aren't even that bad. It is how they are spun by journalists in the headlines to draw attention that is the problem.Anyone that takes offence to his comments or are getting fed up then you're very much part of the problem, he's backing the board into the corner constantly which is what we all want to hear and what we asked for.

If one actually listens to Conte's press conferences he actually comes off as reasonable.
We had the same problem with Jose. Listen to the press conference = for the most part perfectly reasonable. Read just the headline = completely out of line.

I agree, people just need to chill and not react like tha, we all know what the media does.
Wait until the summer transfer window when you’ve got them doing it regarding transfers or the manager. Then the aggregators come in with their spin, misquotes and half quotes and make it even worse.
Last summer was bad for negativity, the winter window almost impossible to navigate online and on twitter for people getting sucked in and baited by the stories. Time and again. You can bet it will be even worse this year as they’ve all got so good at winding up the fan base and making it as negative as possible.
“Honestly I have my vision and it does not change," Conte continued. “The vision was the same in the past, the vision is the same in the present, the vision will be the same in future. The vision will be this. I stop if the vision of someone is not the same.
“I have a vision, one vision: I want to fight to win. I want to fight to be competitive. I want to feel that we need one per cent to win the title or a trophy in which we participate. We have to feel this. This is my vision and I continue to have this vision.”
This sounds completely fair and reasonable. Journos are just spinning it in a negative light. Including our own Alasdair Gold.
I think the question really is, “why do all the journalists want to twist his words into something negative all the time rather than positive?”
He says nothing wrong or negative at all. He’s previously said him and Levy are on the same page going forward and that he’s happy at the club. Here he’s just talking about wanting to make us better. If anything his words are good!
Kane has delivered whilst the other 2 have been poor.I actually like that Conte put some pressure on the big name players at today's press conference. Saying that Harry, Son and Hugo had to take responsibility and "show the way" for the rest of the team.
Eh, Kane has had a fair few games as well where he doesn't show up.Kane has delivered whilst the other 2 have been poor.
Even the Rondaldo first goal....its not a fault but I'm almost certain Ramsdale or Allison would be saving them.
"Conte and Kane sign new, long term deals with Tottenham. What does this mean for United in their pursuit of the duo?"If he signs a new contract in the summer along with Kane I wonder how they’ll frame that as being bad. I bet they do somehow.
you hit it nail on the headI really want to know how much of this PSG talk would be occurring if Poch wasn’t their manager and recently said we were special to him.
The press obviously want Conte to go, Poch to come back (and likely fail) so they can continue the narrative of us being Spursy.
