Lots of suggestions for good players. Always like this in the spring. However, judging from past experiences, I suspect 1 of 2 things will happen.
Juventus will unload unwanted players on us because in my view, the Parasite has got some kind of arrangement with them.
Or we'll just do the "ol' Levy special" and wait until the end of the window when all the better and more expensive players are gone and we'll be looking at the bargain bins. Or maybe combine the 2 and wait for the Juve end of season sale. I don't say this to be pessimistic or try to spread gloom and doom but if history teaches us anything, then it's that Levy is not going to change. I'm not going to give myself false hopes in order to be dashed down yet again.

You're seriously gonna chat this utter shite (as well as call him Parasite) after seeing the 2 ex Juve lads (and Romero) in action?

The whole "end of window" stuff is bollocks too.

.........State of you.

I guess I can cross Noussair Mazraoui off my wanted list. Barca has tabled their offer according to Sport.es and so have Bayern, too. But Barca may consider selling Sergiño Dest. After a rather disappointing spell at Barca, he's started to play well lately.

Walker seems to have been childishly consigned to the dog-house....... You never know.

As for us; not suggesting it will happen, but if were are to make a 'marquee' signing this summer, £50m would likely be the ball-park (see Romero, Ndombele, Sanchez, GLC @ £40-60m)....... Arguably our most needed upgrade so why not?

If we're really to make a push for a trophy next season a move like splashing out for Hakimi is really the way to signal it. No more half measures.

Make a move or two like that (Torres + Hakimi would be immense with Romero) and I think it has the domino effect of getting the best out of Kane. He'd see the genuine intent and it would light his fire I reckon.

Doesn't have to be Hakimi mind. I just think there's something to be said for a statement signing. Much like how getting Conte felt like a real moment. Get one or two players who are the opposite of unknown quantities. Classy winners. And that will help us a lot mentally.

Oh, yea....this must be one of the funniest transfer stories so far.
I personally would not want Pogba at Spurs anyway.

Jason Cundy has claimed on TalkSPORT that it won’t be a surprise for him to see Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte make an ambitious move to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer.

The 29-year-old Frenchman, who was re-signed by the Red Devils for an eye-watering £93 million in August 2016 (Guardian), has just a few months left on his contract.

It doesn’t look like he’ll extend his stay at Old Trafford, which opens the door for multiple other top clubs to sign him on a free transfer before the start of next season.

It really does seem unlikely that he’ll stay in the Premier League if he leaves Manchester United, but Cundy believes Tottenham could well be an option.

Discussing Pogba’s struggles at Manchester United, Cundy said: “I just wonder whether he’s been let down, if he’s been mismanaged, or mis-coached. I just wonder, under a better manager, could we have potentially seen a better Pogba? I think the managerial situation [has affected him].

“Under Klopp, he wouldn’t [hold the ball], look at what Klopp has done for [Jordan] Henderson. Henderson has turned out to be one of the most consistent, solid midfielders in the Premier League, and Klopp has got that out of him.”

Talking about where Pogba could go next, he said: “He can’t get into those top teams (Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea). I’ve not seen enough, but that doesn’t mean to say that he can’t improve some teams.

“There’s a couple of Premier League clubs that we believe are interested and it wouldn’t surprise me if [Antonio] Conte’s looking at that situation.”

I think for us to have a genuine title challenging first XI next season we need 3 signings:
- LCB
- RWB
- CM

I think we need a real top class CM to compliment Skipp, Bentancur and Hojbjerg if we want to go to that next level and of course LCB and RWB are priorities to address.

That's probably 150m right there if we go for top quality.

This doesn't address the depth issue and ultimately that's where we will be found out over the course of a season.

But if we can get those 3 signings right I think we have a first XI that can compete with any team in the league on a consistent basis.
