Gave this a funny, but it’s been like this at Spurs for years now. Nobody else likes us having nice things.
There was a brief time under Poch when we were the media darlings but even then the press were stirring the pot as often as possible

I think that we were the darlings during that last year at the Lane. We were the villains the season prior against scrappy ol' Leicester. But they eased off during that last Lane season. Since then it has been non stop knives out.

True but if we are looking at the new owners that presents another big problem.

Abramovich was putting in free £100m per season even the last 5 years. If they get a normal owner ie a rich investor rather than a sugar daddy then that’s £100m less a season. Transfers/wages goes straight down to our level which means Chelsea won’t have much if any advantage over us as clubs.

Unlike Liverpool, Woolwich or United Chelsea’s position was always artificially inflated, they need a sugar daddy to remain that. Conte wants a big budget while Chelsea having to trim the wage bill might not fit.
 
It's not that the media hate us.
It's that Manure and Lolerpool glory hunting fans dominate. The media just want to pander to to largest fan bases for clicks/views etc.
 
I keep hearing "Man United are going to sign Harry Kane" stories.

Does Kane know this? Does Levy know this? Fuck, do Manure even know this? It's just clickbait because that's what "news" is today.

ffs he didn't fuck up negotiations last summer, Conte has even said he spoke to the club but wasn't ready to move back into management at the time as what happened at Inter was too fresh.

The bollocks to attack Levy with some of you post on here is unbelievable.
