It was not only the wing-backs who were struggling today, though - the whole team was shaky in the 1st half, unable to string together passes and often lost the ball.

Conte is a winner who has already carved out the players that would never have fitted into HIS style of play. He is trying to give Sess and Winks a chance to shine or leave. He has signed 2 players who went straight into the team not bench warmers or some unknown French or Dutch players who never get into the team and quietly leave so as not to emphasise the enbaassment of signing them in the first place.
I started supporting Spurs in 1964 and I am hoping to see them hold the premiership trophy before I pass on. Conte has won titles in England and Italy, he was outstanding as a player too. Winners are hard to find.

No, Burkinshaw didn't win a league title. He won two FA Cups and an UEFA Cup. More than any Spurs manager has done since.
