Seriously though, the league is quite strong now, so I would expect anyone who gets 100 points to win the league by at least 10 points. I don't have any numbers to back this up though.

I'm sure that a person with such loyal, decades-long service to THFC would typically not veer into hyperbole where his club is concerned, but it seems like he slipped up here.
