At least there is a bit more energy and intent in this game. That has been lacking from our recent performances.

The coherence and skill is what is lacking we just dont have the players to play the system Conte wants. There have been some encouraging signs of progression through the middle - suspect we shall reap a couple of goals from that as Leicester tire.

We have got this one.

Having missed a lot of minutes, Lucas understandably looks off the boil. Seems to be tired, which is surprising.

Aside from the goal, Kane failing to link up play. And his passes not up to his normal standard.

Then it's on Conte to change the shape. We are always overrun with this system. 3-4-3 does not work. Has to be 3-5-2
I mean, it's worked more often than it hasn't. The fact we've won a lot more often than lost in that formation makes this comment factually incorrect

I've been a supporter far too long to expect a decent window although I'd love to see it. Not going to set myself unrealistic expectations and suffer the same dissapointments as the previous years....hope for the best and brace for the worst...
Thing is - like we've seen with kulu and bents - it will be a more targetted, 'specialist' summer window with Conte here.

Much more focused and specific, than before.

High probability of recruiting players that actually WORK in his system.

Apart from that quick pass to Son, H is also off the boil to put it politely. Good goal, though.

If there's one thing I envy Leicester over it is their squad depth. Their bench is not fantastic, but it is of equal quality to their starting 11 in large so they can retain more or less the same quality in their team when they rotate.

Imagine if we could do that.
I'm sure this isn't really what you mean, but you've literally just written they you envy Leicester because their starting XI is poor enough that their reserves aren't a big drop off.

That's like saying you wish we didn't have Kane and Son because then our back up forwards wouldn't seem so poor...

A team without leaders, which Pochettino failed to address.

Zero expectation for top 4 even if we beat a second string Leicester.

We need a manager who wants to be at the club and one who can implant a philosophy. I don't care what their name, ethnicity or shoe size.

And Mourinho and Nuno and Conte and Paraciti ...
