Feel totally relaxed going into the summer, knowing he'll get a full pre-season with a tailored squad.
CL would be sweet, but the fact that we're even still in with a shout is a miracle, considering the diabolical lead-up, and start, to the season and the wobbly direction we were going in.
The long and short is this guy will sort our squad and - whatever happens in between - will leave us with a very strong, competitive set-up to carry forward.
It's all about standards; and ours will be much, much higher thanks to this guy.

I don't need to write this now. Thanks Larry. You are spot on. Get him the players he can compete with Pep and Klopp. Which means Spurs can. Back Conte or leave Levy.

It will take a lot to challenge for the title, but it would take very very little to make us comfotably top 4 and a good cup team.
Real winbacks, let's say Cucurella, and Dumfries, and a technical CM like Bissouma would do the trick. The players currently in those positions are championship tier. The upgrade would HUGE, like going from Janssen to Kane.
We wouldn't even need to get upgrade the likes of Dier and Davies.
If Levy can't at least deliver those 3 players, he needs to be chased out of the club with pitchforks and torches.

These reports are hysterical. It was 3 players less than a month ago, then 6, now 6-8.
Either Conte’s thought are suffering from the current bout of inflation or the reports are not reflecting reality.

Conte said during the week he hasn't had any convo's with Fab & Levy about incoming players.
But I’m sure he’s told Matt Law what his demands are first.
Football fans love to emotionally invest in utter crap they read that has no basis in reality. Which is of course why so much utter crap is pushed out. It’s a vicious cycle of nonsense and expectation.

One striking thing about Conte compared to Mourinho is that he really has never thrown the players under the bus. Almost to the point of stubbornness, he will persist with them. And it must have given all of the players a lot of respect for him.
And I think it shows that Conte really backs himself and his methods. I feel like when Jose felt some pressure, he'd change the lineup, change the tactics. And at that point, his players lost faith. It didn't work.
