They have way too many options, and Sterling won't want to be 5th choice. He's below Grealish and Jesus in the pecking order as it is, imagine when Haaland and Alvarez come as well. And he's more than good, it's a waste to keep him on the bench.

He's played more games than either this season, and is a better player than either too. Pretty sure Jesus will be off in the summer when Haaland comes, and Sterling will remain at City as someone who can play all 3 attacking positions to a high standard.

That's because he started the first half of the season. Watch the game v Real, the bald twat started Jesus and subbed Grealish before Sterling.

Players have periods of bad & good form. Jesus hit form lately so was ahead. Sterling has still started most of their recent league games + scored 2 in his last, he gets plenty of matches as Pep loves rotating that frontline.

If he was ever available though I'd love us to be in for him..

Not sure what to think.

Good player but can be incredibly frustrating and his decision making can be poor.

Then again, home grown and has over 100 PL goals so perhaps I'm being unfair. He's 27 and has good pace, would prob offer a lot more than Bergwijn & Lucas.

Would be an incredible game changing signing

Never going to happen though

After signing Haaland I hope Man City are so euphoric that they'll just give him to Spurs for free 😁

Seems well out of our budget range.

We're after two quality WBs, that could cost us something like 70/80m Euros.

Then a top LCB like Bastoni is another 60m.

Then a top CM to replace one of PEH, Bentancur. Let's say another 40 to 60m.

Where's the money for Sterling and his huge wages?

Nah, him and Kane always combined well for England in my opinion. And he seemed to be one of the players that got along the most and enjoyed playing the most with Kane at the Euros.
I don't think that's true. It's more a case of them two being the only competent fordwards.

Sterling is selfish bitch, and I want to punch him every time I see him in an England shirt. If he chose to be a team player he'd be fine, but he mugs Kane off.

People don’t seriously think we are signing Sterling do they ?

I don’t think anyone is saying they expect it to happen, I think we’re mostly just saying he’d potentially be a good signing for us. I think his wages would be too high for us and I wouldnt be surprised if he signed a new deal at Man Shitty anyway.

He isn't getting another contract at City. He'd be on Son wages if he came here. Besides, what are his other options? Woolwich offer the same wages as us, Newcastle are still a couple of years away from being challengers, and Bayern or Barca have a very slim chance of going for him.
He's meant to be on £300k a week at City. I'm guessing he'd want at least that again, if not more as the last big deal of his career. Son isnt on £300k p/w. If he left City more like Real Madrid, PSG. Think he's said before he wanted to play abroad. I'd like us to sign him but just cant see it at all.
