If he wants to play with 3 CM's I don't think we need to play with 3 CB's .... yet we are widely tipped to buy an LCB.

If we play with 3 CB's. LWB. RWB and 3 CM's we can only have 2 forwards .... so little chance of goals , so I think its either 3 cb's or 3 cm's ..........or one of the CM's is actually an AM playing like Kulusevski/Eriksen which in effect is 2 CM's/DM's as we have played under Conte.
352 is a very popular and successful system.

Yes you lose that attacker but you gain a creative midfielder. You absolutely need two great wingbacks though, which is another reason Conte hasn't been able to do it here yet.

I think the problem with that system is that Kane is too static these days - atm that is compensated for by both Son and Kulusevski being able to run ahead.

Not sure the wing backs or extra cm gives us that mobility.

Just my opinion of course.

He's not static. He's playing #10 because we don't have one and someone has to play in that pocket to give Son service.

Eriksen would free Kane back up.

Not sexy and I'm sure we won't go for him but he will be a good pickup for a Premier League team, his movement in the box is fantastic
He's a poor finisher, but that's not the reason to not want him, he's not the right profile for what we need. We need someone more physical, like Llorente but not shit.

Inter's 352 suggests otherwise.....

We'll need 2 players minimum for every position won't we so:

3 keepers
6 cbs
4 wbs
4 cms
6 fws (2 at least able to play no 9)

Probably room for another cm and/or a multi position type like Eriksen, plus any younger players who impress in pre season.

We'll not only need to rotate more often but we should expect more injuries due to the increased number of games.

I think Conte wants the minimum replaced:

Reg
Emerson
Gollini
Winks
Berg

Plus a back up for Kane and a LCB to rotate with Davies. Which will mean one of Tanganga/Rodon leave/go out on loan.

Ideally he'd want more but somewhere around 6/7 players in is my prediction.

Apart from the above, there's no future for Lo Celsius and Tanguy, although the latter will be hard to shift. Gil and Clarke may be loaned out again or sold and Sarr will be assessed in pre season (and probably loaned out again).

We'll need those players who are ok with getting sporadic game time and it's not possible to maintain the same level of quality through the squad. I've no problem with people like Sanchez being squad players for example, if he's happy with that.

I've no doubt this has all been laid out and planned for and Para has made contact with some players/clubs already, maybe even got some deals quite far down the road. I think the above is possible but it's a tough job to shift so many out and in in one window but only Tanguy should be a problem - the rest will fetch decent money and find clubs easily enough hopefully.

Given that Conte has done an enviable job in getting some solid contributions out of Emerson, Doherty and Sessegnon. Any chance he can inspire Ndombele to play like he did in his initial few games at Spurs?

I remember Moussa.D had a similar transfer window where there were no takers and he seemed a bad fit into the team before Pochettino worked his magic and turned him into a monster midfielder operating alongside Wanyama
