Ohhh.

So those terms applied to his first full season with us, people assumed they were this season hence the CL qualification meaning an obligation.

I guess the only benefit to buying this summer is to save on the loan fee.

I'm definitely sold on Bastoni as the main centre back target and Perisic as the main LWB target. I'm sold on Bissouma as the main CM target (also Phillips and Tielemans).

I'm not sold on Kostic as the main Left wing back target or Spence as the main RWB target.

The thought of Kane being able to spray balls out to the likes of Kostic/Perisic who can then actually do something with it is getting me erect.

We will be a joy to watch with quality wingbacks.
I have no desire to watch you get erect, even less desire to watch you get erect whilst I sit with a couple of quality wingbacks.
I am old so a bit out of touch , is quality wingbacks a euphemism for something more sexual with the younger generation ?

My guess is that he has to make 20 PL appearances for us, playing at least 45 mins in each appearance. In addition to that Spurs must qualify for CL, not or, AND. We've qualified for CL, but he's not made 20 appearances, so the obligation is not triggered, only an option.

We can exercise the option at any time next season.

How so?

Surely can only be made a permanent signing when the transfer window is open

I won't pretend to have watched him a lot, but having watched him in the Europa final, I did have some concerns so maybe someone who has seen him more can break down.

His number of assists are impressive, however the commentator said he was first in the number of crosses into the box during the Europa campaign, but watching his crosses they were often hit blindly and almost constantly. So are his numbers actually good, or is it just a reflection of the shear number of balls he pumps into the box?

He also seemed to lack composure overall, he seemed to be their main attacking threat but was pretty rash with his decisions and shooting.

It was a final, so in fairness to him I imagine the occasion played a part but overall I didn't come away thinking he was a sign at all costs type of player.

If the intention was to rotate between him, and Sessengnon then I think it would be a fantastic signing for a comparatively cheap fee.

Yeah, I meant as a figure of speech, as in its up to us whether we sign him up this summer, Jan next season or wait till summer next season.

There's no rush, no worries.
