Their fans are insane , always have been !Would West Ham actually sell us Bowen? Their fans would go insane.
And that we need a back up keeper. Don’t be underwhelmed. He’s only gonna get early stage cup gamesI’m really underwhelmed by the news Frasier Forster could be on his way. It can only make sense to increase our homegrown quota
It's not unthinkable that a (35/36 years old) goalkeeper gets injured at some point. Possibly for weeks or months even. And that we need a back up keeper. Don’t be underwhelmed. He’s only gonna get early stage cup games
daylight robbery for a player like him.Not keen as it is, but he's in the last year of his deal.... 30m is a banter asking price; not a "bargain".
I think that naturally happens as we sign better players. The bench against Norwich included Craig, Devine, Scarlett and White. With five subs and UCL, the depth needs to be so much better next season. Of course world class additions for the starting XI are needed but there will be "underwhelming" acquisitions that should be welcomed as squad players.
Absolutely , would be a reliable squad player
Yep. And Forster is a capable back up. We ain’t gonna get a worldie. Other positions need the investmentIt's not unthinkable that a (35/36 years old) goalkeeper gets injured at some point. Possibly for weeks or months even.
I think with Conte at the helm and strengthening the current squad CL is a given next season. I would be surprised if we got anything less than 80 pts next season. And this is a very different time compared to the Pocchetino era. The Poch era could have been seen as a purple patch and we didn't have the finances yet to compete with some of the bigger boys. This time now appears to be something that will be sustained. So it makes perfect sense that we would be viewed differently.Wouldn't get too excited about that..... I doubt Lewis would be digging into his own pocket if that was imminent.
Besides.....It was never a good idea to do that deal whilst in our recent slump..... Even now 1 season of CL doesn't do much on a perception level.... Re-qualify next year and elite players, other clubs and the commercial world will start to take notice again.

The likes of Davies, Sess, PEH etc. become the bench rather than starters.
Nailed it.
Maybe, but it's by no means a certainty that our second goalkeeper will only play a couple of cup games.Yep. And Forster is a capable back up. We ain’t gonna get a worldie. Other positions need the investment
