Absolute scenes on here in September when we end the window with Forster and Eriksen in, Berg, Rodon, Royal, Reggie, GLC out, Winky and Ndombelly still here like new signings and Levy taking home a £150m bonus for the year...

I hadn’t even considered we may look at two new Centre Backs and I think Dier is a very good fit to the Central role. But whoever posted a potential back three of Romero Bremer Bastoni is a filthy filthy man.

6-8 comes from Conte’s reported demands, we have 150m plus player sales plus CL money plus probably 8-10 players leaving the club so a lot of squad space.

I don’t know why that is implausible. We have had summers where we have signed 7 players before and with a lot less money.
Its not about the amount of players..its combining them all into a squad in a short space of time... remove the players being moved on and your almost looking at pratically new first team ..unless there all brought in early which is unlikely its improbable imho.

Pep signed like 6-7 players in each of his first and second window at City. Obviously we don't have those kind of resources but it shows integrating that many players can be done successfully under a top coach. It may take a season or so to get to their top level but it's not unfeasible.

We have enough of a first 11 that not all the players would need to come in and hit the ground running.

Most of the players out like Lo Celso, Ndombele, Winks, Rodon, Lucas, Bergwijn, Regulion, Emerson etc have players already ahead of them in the peking order. Conte has already shown he is happy to move players out quickly if needed and the 6-8 players comes reportedly from Conte himself. He wants to build a strong team very quickly even if that means taking risks.

I dont disagree..i just think its improbable unless there elite players not the debacle we had with the bale money ...plus players on very good salaries and contracts have to be moved out .

Four players to the starting eleven is needed if we want to be ambitious. LCB, RWB, LWB and CM should all be upgraded if target is something else than top 4. Upgrading these positions should be easy though it could be expensive.
