Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

On the basis of the rumours so far

GK - Forster
RWB - Spence
LWB - Kostic
CM - Bissouma
AM - TBD
FWD -TBD

Not bad. Still not convinced on Spence tbh. The wing backs are so critical.

Yeah, for 30m that would be a big boost to the team. That 150m would go a long way if we pick up a few like him, Eriksen, Perisic/Costic for free/cheap.

Then overpaying for Bastoni or even Sterling wouldn't be a big deal.

Why are you trying to give me boner so hard (pun intended) ?!?
It is working hours ffs!

Just imagine -
Bissouma and Eriksen to boost our midfield with Skippy coming back
Perisic and another wingback in for similar money for which Reggie and Royal are sold for
Bastoni coming in to the backline
Sterling coming to streghten the picks for forward line
Winksy + Rodon out from current players + Ndombelly, GLC, CCV shipped from loanees...

We would have experience, youth, steel and power in the side....
Gosh...

Bissouma has been released with on going further investigation

His associate has been bailed until the 6th June and neither would that be his court date

If one wanted to apply a bit of guess work and extrapolate it suggests his associate is the main offender

It is perfectly possible that his 'associate' arrested with him is the main offender. However the fact is the police is still conducting investigations means Bissouma is not guaranteed to be off the hook - which should be the main takeaway.

The date of 6 June is a decision point - for example police need to apply to court to extend bail or (best possible outcome for the player) the criminal case is dropped (of course a civil case might be brought) which presumably means ongoing investigations including into Mr B come to an end or ................

So 6 June may make things clearer ....... or worst case suggest Bissouma may turn into having a Ched Evans, the risk of which means his valuation becomes questionable whatever his footballing abilities as ultimately public opinion is powerful .

I'm not convinced on Spence either, I think he's a good player but he's had one good season for Forest in the championship. Can't really see him being a Conte signing and someone who is going to improve us to compete in the Champions League.

RWB - Not really sure on this position who I'd want. Why do I think we'll be back for Adama...

Kostic would be good at LWB. Perisic would be a dream though.

CB - Bastoni. This one seems to tick all the boxes, statement signing for Conte, 2 years left on contract, young, price not too bad. Davies has been great but this is an area we need to improve.

CM - Eriksen mainly due to being available on a free otherwise I wouldn't go near.

CM - tielemans mainly based on the fact he's definitely leaving and is proven in the Premier League. Wouldn't cost loads either.

Forward - no idea realistically but I really wouldn't mind Sterling even though he has his critics. Prefer him to Jesus.

Does this look right for our current squad?

Clarke no longer U21 - Surely one for the chopping block!

Association trained: Davies, Doherty, Rodon, Austin , Sessegnon, Clarke, Foster
Club trained: Kane, Winks, Tanganga, Whiteman, CCV, Skipp

Foreign: Royal, Bergwijn, Dier, Højbjerg, Lloris, Lo Celso, Moura, Ndombele, Reguilón, Sánchez, Son Heung-min, Romero, Golini, Kulusevski, Bentancaur

U21: excluded from squad count (Gil, Sarr)

Total : 27 (up to 25)
HOMEGROWN : 13 (min 8)
FOREIGN : 14 (max 17)

Only if you don't want to play in CL.

To play in CL we need to look at UEFA rules which say :

Club Trained : Kane, Winks, Tanganga, Austin (plus next year Skipp is over 21)

Players trained by Other Associations : Sessegnon

Which means that we have 6 players who are club trained or trained by clubs not affiliated to the FA (eg Swansea)

Overseas Trained : Everyone else (including Davies and Doherty)

NB. I've ignored Jack Clarke as I can't see him justifying a squad place so he's either loaned out again or sold.

I think it'll be Singo from Torino for the starting spot at RWB and Spence as his understudy alongside Doherty when he returns from injury. Emerson turned it around and was effective but he'll never be what Conte wants and we should easily get our money back from someone in La Liga.

Impressive stat, but I think he's one of those who will take his foot of the gas once he gets his big move.

25 yo, 1 year left on his contract, so this was always the season he needed to impress.

There was a quote from him earlier this season, where he said something like 'in my mind I'm the best midfielder in the PL. There is no-one better than me.'. OK, it's good to have self belief, but he doesn't sound like someone desperate to improve, or who thinks he needs to keep working on his game.

Anyway I think Conte will pass. Even as a footballer he's too much of a free spirit for Conte.

It really does sound too good to be true. Proven, established signing in every position. Is this really Spurs?

Let's hope this is at least partially true.

Hope so. I think our reported interest in Bremer may be a smoke screen for Singo.

Villa apparently already bid more than Spurs. CL football, Kane, Conte etc. should tip up over the edge.

Those fucks have been spending like a CL side since they were in the championship. Their wage budget is like 20m less than ours.

It’s gonna be interesting to see what the Newcastle financial clout does to the market and the affect on clubs like Villa and Everton, who usually spend a fair whack.
