Depends what he’s being asked to do. If he’s asked to lead the line and bang in a ton of goals, I don’t think it will go well for him. As a rotation/squad player, deployed across the front line, he’d be fantastic. Issue seems to be (to me at least) that he fancies himself to be a more important player.

There are a lot of top quality (without the fan fair) players on that list. Do not be dissatisfied and disappointed it is names you never expected. The top targets has other top clubs keen on them. We hang around too long waiting on selling club, we run the risk of loosing our back-ups.

He's better playing from out wide. But played as a striker every week he would still score 15-20 goals and be a big improvement on Lacazette and Nketiah.

Youth team update - there are 3 players from Watford at the u19 Terbourg Tournament, two forwards and a midfield player all presumably on trial - details on youth thread.

Good to know that we are looking at player acquisitions at all levels
 
People not wanting Jesus is nuts - he’d be absolutely perfect signing in the forward positions. Proven in the prem, only 25, tricky, can finish and can play across the front line (Son esque). Yes, he is a bit inconsistent, but so was Son at his age. He will get loads of game time next season for us between UCL, cup games and 5 subs. He will be the type of player Conte brings on first if we need something different. If the price is right, it would be a great deal. Plus it stops him going to Woolwich an fixing their problems up front.
 
Richarlison would be a brilliant signing if he could clean up his passing and touch a little bit. Think he'd be a great rotation for the front three positions with Conte coaching him.
