pretty sure Konate has had more howlers leading to goals than Davies last season.

Anyway, it seems we've narrowed it down to Ndicka, Torres and possibly Hincapie. Having seen so little of all of these players, Torres is the least intersting, as he's more passive than the other two. Ndicka has decent experience of high pressure games, but Hincapie seems to be more highly rated in the Bundesliga.
On what basis is Hincapie higher rated? Ndicka was Bundesliga team of the season this year and Hincapie was not.

Why are Chelsea agreeing to this?!?!

Insane! :dierno:

Cos chelsea can just blow money on who they want and if they're shit farm them out on loan. In any normal situation the coach would be firing spending 97m on a player who cant hit a barn door. They've had lukaku 3 times now. That's why teas like chelsea, psg and oil fc are treated with disdain by uefa and la Liga as it's not a fair playing field.

Probably to sweeten Inter to sell one of their defenders. Odd thing is I read a while back the fee for Lukaku was sold by Inter to a financial company so Chelsea are paying them not Inter for Lukaku so Chelsea would still need to pay the £100m as it’s not Inter who would take it the money and Inter couldn’t refinance to make it easy for Chelsea.

Not sure how true that is but would make sense seeing Inter have short term debt problems. In short Chelsea losing Lukaku and buying an Inter player is a £100m loss plus whatever the fee for the Inter player they want.

chelsea are looking for a CB and they don't ask skriniar or bastoni in return?
It seems very strange to me..

I was saying that i was the quality of the players we recruited irrespective of cost.

You absolutely weren't.

You repeatedly emphasised "cheap" players... You complained Levy was trying to do things "on the cheap"....... You even complained that WHam bought a more expensive player than us once and also cited 11 more players cost more than the one we bought in a certain window.

Everything you said centered around pricetag.

But there's reason for that isn't there?

I think "cheaper" has been the reason why we have struggled to win fuck all over the last twenty years.

Forget the likes of Jensen, Vinicius and the like (even going back to Soldado), if we want to improve the front line then "cheaper" isn't the answer.

Levy has been down that road more often than a taxi travels around the M25.

Eleven PL players were signed that season for twice as much money.

It's cheap.

Dice it up any way you want but West Ham signed a more expensive player that season, while we fucked around with:

Vincent Janssen Alkmaar £18.8m; Victor Wanyama Southampton £11m; Georges-Kévin N’Koudou Marseille £9m; Pau Lopez Marseille (loan); Moussa Sissoko Newcastle £30m

(Funny that a couple of spammy shit-cunts are already blamming the kisses though...... )

Inter are a huge club. They were my first love and they have had enormous players throughout their history and won a LOT.

People here sometimes act surprised that players love inter or like spurs are a bigger club because now we have more money but since we last won a trophy they have won… 3 league titles, 3 Italian cups, 1 champions league, and the fifa club World Cup. And reached a Europa league final.

They’ve won as much in 14 years as we’ve won since 1980. I’m not having a go at us but you can’t even compare the two clubs.
I must have missed something.....as I can't remember Spurs having won 3 league titles and 1 CL title + + since 1980

Have to say it's a bit alarming if true to hear that ten haag feels its vital eriksen is part of his rebuild. How the mighty have fallen. But lets be honest the premier league is much stronger since Ferguson left. Dodgy as fuck playing at old trafford.

Yeah that makes the point even stronger. I was counting major trophies only (domestic or continental cups and league titles) but not distinguishing between an FA cup and a league title.

Inter are a historically massive club. Along with AC Milan, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Barcelona… only Liverpool and maybe Manchester United have an equivalent historic super club status in the U.K. No club in France has it.

It’s not everything because the nouveau riche can pay big bucks but it counts for a lot for many players.
